Wonderful. I am a para-engineer, so I make my own refractive measuremenrs. Much more accurate, and good double check. Current visial acuity is 20/20, and refraction is +0.5 Diopters. Excellent review.
are they also considered a salesman? Do they have to meet a sales goal by the end of the shift? This question probably doesn't relate to an optometry clinic but more so a private practice. I am asking this question because I use to work as a salesman, but I left because I hated to have a sales goal and if I did not make the goal I would get in trouble.
alex perez I am a CPO (testing for CPOA in 2 wks). I would not consider my job as a salesman position, though we do sell things (contacts, glasses). At the end of the day, at most offices you would not be in trouble at all if you didn’t sell a certain amount. It all varies per patient and what they need. It’s definitely an awesome field if you decide to do it! I plan to until I retire!
@@katitatum1538 awesome, I guess I'll consider it. At the moment I am a lab tech in a toxicology company and I love my job, but if I won't be considered a salesman I'll look for optometry positions when I get bored of of my job.
