My youngest son told my Grandma that the white eggs from the grocery store were fake, because eggs weren't plain white. He has only known my hens and they lay speckled, pink and greens. It gave us a giggle that our hens eggs are all he knew.

What was the outside temperature when you placed these outside? I'm in zone 9a, central Louisiana, and I would like to try this next year. Just trying to determine when I would start the seeds.
It was 20 - 30 at night and 30 -40 during the day. I suggest waiting until the deepest freeze is over. The totes really help insulate the plants from the cold.
