I share random things on YT.
I asked ChatGPT for a 1950s recipe, and this is what I got...
Apple Crisp recipe. I asked ChatGPT to create a recipe that a homemaker from the 1950's (like my own grandmother) would have made. I think it delivered pretty well.

Thank you SO much @Phillip Breedlove! I had NO idea how to remove this sliding door handle! You, sir, are a TRUE GENTLEMAN!👊
Will the key fob still work after replacement?
Yes. This replacement is entirely mechanical. It has nothing to do with the electronics in the van.
@@two4.six8 thanks
@two4.six8 Bought the handles off ebay and my friend replaced 3 of the 4 (handles) they work fine .
Thanks. Exactly what I needed.
You're welcome! Glad I could help.
Thanks for sharing🙏
You're welcome!
I would have still wanted to see how you attach the handle back on. 😡
very concise and so true what he said about not dropping the bolts down inside the door frame. THANK YOU
You're welcome!
Best can opener ever, and I like that it is made in the USA. Opens my 365 Skipjack tuna cans easily. I clean it after with a toothbrush, then dry it with paper towel.
Yeah. It's still a great opener after all of these years.
Thanks I broke my sliding door handle today, while opening up the door, my handle broke in the same place as yours. Thanks for this repair video,I'll be fixing the door with confidence now.
You're welcome. I hope it all goes well.
Thanks for sharing 👍
You're most certainly welcome.
Thank you so much. Super easy to follow. Saved me a bunch of money doing it myself.
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
Any advice on what to do when the sliding door does not want to shut electronically? After opening it 50% of the time it will attempt to close when I click the button then stop and open fully again. It only moves a few inches when it tries.
It could be a number of things, but the first thing I would look at is the track that the door runs on to make sure there is no debris. If not, I'd suspect that the drive motor for the door is beginning to fail. It could be other things, but those are the first two things I'd suspect.
Perfect!!!
Great video will do this to my 2001-2002
Thanks for the video! Made the job much easier.
You're certainly welcome!
Don't Lose that Bolt: put a layer of tape on the bolt head (or across the socket's mating hole) THEN push the socket onto the bolt head. The tape will retain the bolt in the socket, it won't fall. Also, buy a plastic tool set that's designed to pry body panels off: "Auto Trim Tool Kit" $14 for 5 shapes
THANK YOU so much!! Terrific video showing this fix. My minivan sliding door is repaired!
You're welcome!
Donde puedo comprar la manija de la puerta corredisaa qui en mexicali
Lo siento. No lo sé con certeza. Compré mi manija de Amazon.com. Pero también podría estar disponible en eBay.
A family members Sienna sliding door won’t open so I just needed this tutorial to take off the door panel
Everything perfect, except that the dice went inside the door at the last moment and you warned me
Glad it worked. Sorry for the mishap, though...
I just recently bought one of these after going through many made in China garbage openers. This thing is awesome. I couldn't believe how it cut through the can lid like butter. It's also cheap price wise. Worth every penny.
Oh yes, I agree. It's great. It's been 7 years and I'm still using it almost every day.
Add shrimp. You’re welcome 😎
Ooo. That would taste good. Maybe make a roux, add some okra as well. This is just something that is so simple, all five of my children will eat it. 😂
No meat = I don’t eat
That’s so me
Then add meat. :-)
What In the white?

Wtf bitchhhh didn’t even show how to install.
It is July 24 2022, my van is 2001 with low mileage . Actually all 5 door handles have broken. But after watching this, I can fix the sliding door handle. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this quick guide! Very helpful sir!
You're very welcome!
With your help, took 7 minutes. Thanks
Awesome. Glad I could be of service.
Thank you for taking the time to do this!
Thanks for this! It was much easier than I thought it would be.
Glad you found it easy!
This was a school assignment? 💀
Yes.
Very good information I followed to the t thanks for sharing
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
It seems to be a pretty common problem with these type of vans because two door handles broke on my 1999 sienna 😖
Yeah. When I made this video, it was the second handle that I had replaced. Both times, they had gotten stuck during an ice storm and when someone pulled too hard on them they broke.
Superb tutorial
Great Video!!! I replaced the door handle of my 1990 Sienna Van EXACTLY as you described! Excellent Example Video!!! Done....
Awesome! Glad it helped!
Wow. Thank You So Much 🙏🏼
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
@@two4.six8 It’s Finally Fixed 😌 💝
Tip, Tie a piece of thread around the bolt head and then you can easily "fish" out the bolt or by a magnetic extension retrieval tool from your local auto parts store.
Thanks for the video. How do I find the matching door handle?
Here's a silver one. If you need a different color, just search for it on Google or Amazon and include the color name. But take note that this is a cheap aftermarket handle. Not the highest quality, but it should work. If you want the best, buy one from an online Toyota parts store. www.amazon.com/dp/B01GIHWCJU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_Y9EZJC2NYPKZHVF0ES66
@@two4.six8 Thanks a lot Phillip!
Thanks for the video man, saved me hundreds of dollars from going to the stealership
You're welcome. I made this video for the specific purpose of helping people to save money on an easy repair.
Thank you so much this really saved me a lot of time
Spot on brother. Thank you.
Thank you. No nonsense and clear details. Love it! 👍
This is very well-made and reduces the task to a few simple steps. Thanks!!
You're welcome! Glad I could help. After I got sticker shock from the price that the dealer wanted to charge, I decided to tackle it myself and realized it was not hard at all.
$35 for the handle online and then 45 minutes to put on. I was going to go to a mechanic but then I saw your video. Really good tip on not letting the bolts drop down into the door too-which is something I might have done but for the warning. :)
@@jhratcli Yeah, I get a lot of comments about that tip. Especially whenever someone ignores my advice and then spends forever trying to fish the bolt out.
Thanks for the vid. I broke off the door handle the other day while I was working, and now I hope I can open up the panel without opening the door because I can't open it from the inside until I fix that! 😫😩
Great instructions! Despite your dire warning, I dropped a bolt and could not get it out. I never knew that metric threads were different from English, but after a trip to the hardware store I'm good. Thank you!
Very intelligent demonstration Thank you good Sir
You are quite welcome!
Bingo! Now I don't have to pretend to be chivalrous every time I walk around to let my friends into my van!
Hahaha! Glad you got it to work...
Very cool. I fixed mine in a few hours. Struggled for a bit cause someone had messed with the internals, until I finally figured out how to put them back in the right spot. I did break one of the clip mounts on the door cover, sadly. I managed with only some adjustable wrenches and my fingers, but you will definitely have an easier time with a ratchet.
Just broke the passenger side sliding door handle on the wife's 2000 Sienna but forgot how I did it, probably trial and error method. The driver door handle is cracked and I have the replacement so once these are done the only original door handle on the van will be the passenger front door handle. I have replaced or will have replaced all of the others. Toyota's are notorious for breaking door handles. I have also replaced them on the pickups and Camry's.
