I will visit island next year. I am looking forward to idiotwatching.
Completely clueless about her puppy in the first one, just unbelievable how she had no regard for her puppy
Winner, #2. Best dork running, #4. Thanks for just showing the videos consecutively, without giving any commentary! Awesome.
Without exaggeration the guy in video 2 was seconds away from dying. That was one powerful rush of water and surrounded by a rocky breaker.
Tsunami not a sneaker wave
that first one annoys me with how long it took for her to pick up her tiny dog
Adults, if you decide to go tour these beaches for sneaker waves, so be it. However, leave the fur babies, and kids out of your adventure. Thanks.
Everybody: Talking about the dog Me: he spelt caught wrong in the title
That first one. Like b**ch pick your damn dog up hes fu*king drowning... Jesus
I feel so bad for the dog. As if dogs are not scared of bathing by default, now, it can be traumatized by that experience.
the way the dumb lady just leaves her dog in the water!! some people don't deserve animals
That lady was just kicking back having a smile while her dog was getting slapped around by the water, shameful dog owner there. Also, if the beach is abnormally large get to some higher ground, it means a large wave is coming in and has pulled a lot of water in to feed it(usually this happens with tsunamis).
Whoever made the yellow arrow.. Its not all about you karen

Poor doggy.
Don't mess with the ocean.
Looked this up after hearing the Aurora Benai case, poor girl got pinned under a huge log rolled onto her by a sneaker wave, she was pinned under until the water receded and people got the log off of her, they think the shear weight of the log killed her
Music wrecks the video as always
This is what scares me about the ocean 😥 does this happen at all of them ?
Not hardly. Underwater topography makes a difference. Also, know when the Tide's coming in.
I live in Sydney, Australia and I’ve never heard of these. Maybe we call it something different Or maybe our normal waves are just like this 😂
King Waves
big water
Trust me I seen them up north on Stockton beach ⛱️ Newcastle if the conditions are 2.5m plus swells and 1.7m high tides southerly, It gets all the tourists.
0:26 YOU DIED
Those morons deserved to be taken by those waves!
And you shouldn’t be a dog owner.
I was told once that every 7th wave is the biggest, but I could be wrong
The last one LOL
I hope the person in the last one doesn’t actually run like that, kind of annoying to watch lol
Idiots and their smartphones. I feel sorry for the dog.
my brother and i both almost died from being pulled into the ocean by sneaker waves. his was on the oregon coast but mine happened in cali. i remember the only reason i wasnt pulled out to sea was because i was clinging onto the big rocks. i was only 8 and was about 4'5". its a miracle im still alive.
I bet that was scary shit
A couple of children just died here in the Bay from being sucked in. Glad you made it!
same actually on the oregon coast! i was only 5
Is it a coincidence that your name means "beach" in my language? 😅
If you see waves coming at you... Sneaker or not. You better start running. It's better to be safe than sorry. This is why I stay away from waves even in surf fishing.
That's a bit of an over reaction but yeah common sense is always a good idea around water
1st vid. She's only capable to think of nothing but herself. Such people are no good to their dogs. I would only think of the sweet titch right beside me and I never let my dogs down at raging water.
0:33 whyyyyy.........dooooooooooooes........heeeeeeee...............taaaaaaaaaaalk..............liiiiiiiiiike ...............thiiiiiiiiiiis?
morons
Nice credits fucker. The first video is from my dad (rest his soul) ua-cam.com/video/U7BQED6Z4qA/v-deo.html
your music overlay sucks. makes it chaotic
I really would like to hear the perspective of the content creators that put these overpowering music tracks in videos like this. Literally no one likes them. Comment after comment complains about them. Can someone tell me what is the draw to do this? Does it affect the youtube algorithm and help gain views somehow?
They put them on as most of the content is stolen and the music covers other tracks, a losers' way to edit.
Basically attempting to make it their own content
The guy talking in the second one is hilarious. He's got to be stoned.
He's from Oregon, so yeah.
0:41 that sounds like donald trump
I'm pretty sure the local news Warns people regarding the ocean, yet their curiosity spikes their interest. Take your sorry ass there if your dumb enough not to have Respect for the ocean but leave your poor dogs at home! dumb ass
Taking your puppy to the beach and letting it get hit by water makes it distrust you for a very long time.
Poor dude was drowning and getting choked to death at the same time... what a dumb b*tch.
@@dano7369 Not just her fault...
Right, but saving it from the waves makes it trust you forever. LOL
@@dano7369 took her sweet time to remember her dog and actually take action to get him out of the water 👿 why she thought to pull on the leash attached to a collar was the way to go about it is beyond my understanding 😬 (if it was harness, maybe)
Especially if it’s an ankle biter that hates water. Some dogs get stoked on water and probably have a better chance of survival than most fuxked up out of shape humans in situations like this.
Ok, So if you go to seaside, oregon, there is a river in the middle of the beach, and a warning for big waves is when the river starts getting more rough
Grew up there (2nd video). That is Bassendorff beach. And what was being filmed was the largest jetty on the Southern Oregon coast. It is a dangerous place and fishing vessels get taken down annually. Container ships traverse there. It’s a cool sight to behold. Walking out on the jetty itself is something a lot of people do…. and it’s not uncommon for people to drown. Luckily enough I never needed to run or escape a sneaker wave. (If there is any doubt a large tunnel is on the cliff side just below the coast guard lookout)
Wow I am surprised that dog made it in the 1st one they took long enough to pick it up.
Why didn't they grab that tiny little dog right away? They are lucky it wasnt swept away
Hey dat rhymed!
coz it happened so fast and of course one would save themselves first.
I lived on the coast and the first rule of beach walking is PAY ATTENTION! the second rule is PAY ATTENTION AND NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE OCEAN.
OH and the third rule is PAY ATTENTION.
Eh most beaches it’s not that important. Here in the east coast of Australia we don’t get these type of waves. In California you have them because the plate tectonics just offshore.
This video sucked.
Damn a lot of people in this video are just asking to receive the Darwin Award.
@t i One can go to the beach. Just one should be careful.
@t i I was born and raised in Oregon and I can tell you there are signs everywhere warning people to beware of sneaker waves. I didn’t know they were only on the west coast though. That’s interesting.
Looks nice and cold outside, let's go frolic by the sea.. Oh what a great idea! Let me put on my long pants and shoes...
That first one - they are lucky that wall they were on didn't break and crush their bones instantly.
"Time to go!" For real 😳

I feel so bad for the dog in the first one
Bq
That is what you call stupid dog owners
@@kgui4388 no that's not what you call stupid dog owners those are what you call showing the dog to the camera do the comment won't lash out
Bq
@@pilot_bruh576 no, really she's just completely clueless that her little precious is drowning.
That second one is insane, I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't recorded
The water comes in so quickly
I’m thinking a small tsunami
