Side question: How has Widow felt to you since the Dec 19th projectile size nerf?

@@APTtrainer Glad you asked. I was away for a little more than a month and came back playing her. I thought they increased her scope charge time. * I felt like I was playing Ashe - multiple shots for a kill. * My grappling shot kills are less frequent. Bottom line: I hate any nerf to Widow. It takes at least above average mechanics plus all the other stuff like line of sight, angles, dealing with sore losers switching to Sombra...etc. to play her as a viable option. Thanks for reining in the outliners of the bell curve, Blizzard. Ok, maybe I just need more cheese to go with my whine (sic) and improve my accuracy.

I'm about 6 months behind on sharing my clips, but I have been trying to inch up my sensitivity, which you might notice if and when I get to posting the current ones . LOL . But I have a real bad tendency to overcorrect movement. I literally destroy my controllers. I go through about 1 per year. Eeep! And I have a callus on my left thumb from how hard I push the controller! So I doubt I will ever be one of those 100% sensitivity people. But the reticle thing is interesting. I assume that you are not talking about crosshairs, but literally a square. I don't even remember seeing that in the settings, but I'll go back and look!

Yeah, either attacking or defending I always start there.

@Pillowfffox-fc2xn These games are from about 6 mos ago (I'm a scooch behind lol) So I don't know exactly what they were, but prolly in the neighborhood of 35 horiz&vert sense, 100 aim assist, 1% aim assist window, 80 aim assist ease it, 0 aim smoothing.

Thanks for your input. I don't know what a gamebar is, though. Honestly I just started putting these videos on UA-cam as a free way to save my gameplay. I'm still quite shocked than anybody watches it. Lol

Hahaha! 💯 Honestly, I wish I could type faster, because it's funny how setting the stage for people to be nice to each other, gets the meanies to pipe down. Not always, but when I have done that, it usually works. And it definitely makes for a fun game for me even if we lose. ( which could definitely be 100% my fault cuz I spend too much time typing!)

The struggle is real. But please keep that in mind when you play against console players when you're on PC. It was a lot more balanced before Blizz forced us console players to go against pc players. And VERY annoying to get tea bagged by Moira players on PC.

@@soldierofmidgar03 Yea, I hear the sarcasm. 😏 This was a horrible game that took bringing in Sym at the end to mop up my mess. I save these games for myself to re-watch, and I find humor in a really horrible game that I got carried in, but that Sym got POTG, in the 1 min I played her. And I always post my current rank in the video description. Mostly I like to save my good games, but every once in a while, something funny happens which will make me save a poopy one.

I've just got a huge backlog.) Anyway, my point is that when they reworked the rankings a couple mos ago, I've been hovering around Gold 2. I think I'm going to seek coaching to see if I can tap Plat. Any recommendations?

Well there was a little grumbling but it was more in the direction of how the game is built versus any particular person. But agreed that is different. And refreshing.

Nice! I was silver 2 until they recently changed up the ranks, to spread out the high end and low end people. So now I'm currently at gold 2. But this was recorded before that change, so I'm prolly silver in this video.

Honestly, here's what I look at (and this is purely just my suspicions that don't really mean anything): No player card, title and/or icon, level 1 or 2 endorsement, private career profile, but great gameplay. Now, to be fair, most people are better than me, but not when you're brand new to a game. And so freaking easy to create a new account. And here at the low levels, I have to endure a LOT of "new account" players. I don't save the games where I'm getting my face pushed in... those aren't fun to relive. 😅

@@Apto_o Oh and to be clear, I think he's playing at a higher level than the rest of us, which makes it easier for the rest of us to do our jobs.

@@sselesussecnirp No, this is controller on PS5. I didn't know that Xbox doesn't allow Match Chat. But that would explain why my Xbox buddy always gets nasty comments sent directly thru his console instead of in-game.

@APTtrainer I play xbox and match chat exist and it can be very bad at times but diamond plus you start to see more respectful people

@@APTtrainer I wasn't aware they added match chat to consoles at all. The point of getting nasty dms is two-fold: 1. People are used to having to use DMs for match chat 2. Not all toxic players like to do it publicly, almost like they know it's wrong but can't help themselves.

Oh jeez. I guess I'm lucky that there are asshats who are prevented from sharing their asshatery publicly because they feel shame! Lol! I can barely tolerate the 10% who do it for everyone to see!

Sure! I don't play support very often and am not very good with any of them to be honest.

@@APTtrainer If you're mercy and you're going for kills you should go for people that are already low or for squishy characters, you shouldn't be shooting tanks too much, if you want to get the kill on the tank try to last hit them so in the mean time you can do other things. When you use your valkyrie you're very unhittable because of your movement so you should use it, you should be flying everywhere in your ult, not shoot the hog while bassically standing still, you're making it easy for him to kill you. You should dmg boost ults that benefit from it, like a moira ult. You should be trying to dmg boost your dps as much as possible and focus less on healing and the tanks unless they really need it, you were heal botting a tiny bit. Especially dps like cassidy are really good for pocketing and dmg boosting. When people take the high ground you should follow them there, it's more advantageous. You can get on high ground more even by yourself since you're mercy, you can shift jump more. You could also dmg boost a little dva so she gets her mech back faster. But these are just some things i thought i noticed, you're doing great. Especially for your elo it seems to be working out great. I can tell you like like dpsing a lot so idk if you'd enjoy mercy that much since people don't want her to be shooting much haha

​@@baizhuughthatguy3932Thank you for the input! I need to read this every Friday when I play because I usually always start with Mercy, just to get my eyeballs adjusted to the movement. So less healbotting on tanks, more dps boosting/healing on damage heros, use higher ground more, fly more while ulting, shoot at low health targets. I do struggle with the movement on Mercy b/c I'm console, and can't do some of the tricks pc players can do with her, but I'll work on these things! Thank you!
