I am a sigma female, and a feminine woman, and a empath, i have to watch my energy, and who i choose to be around....

stay away from me sigmas. i deserve not to be cut off suddenly. that is inhuman attachment abuse. you are not perfect either.

I work in a very large salon , 9 other woman . My differences are so notable. I lost my voice to vocal chord cancer , so This gives me the pass on not speaking so much. 😂😂😂 finally I have an excuse . I can look and watch and hide away in peace without having to chit chat all the time.

I was diagnosed as a dismissive avoidant but it never sat right with me. In learning about Sigmas….these traits feel like me to a tee!

This is the only video I have come across on Sigma females that actually walks the talk by using a female voice to talk to us. All the others use a male voice to teach, conveying the idea that men know us better than we do ourselves, supporting the patriarchal idea that only men are the ones with true power.

After years of being bullied for these exact traits, it'l feels really good to hear someone talk about them like they're good traits.

Realized my full sigma self in my 30's. When younger, people were always trying to make me conform to their idea of what a girl/woman should be and do, and I never quite fit in anywhere. Once I reached self-actualization, once I truly grew up and accepted my strength, growth has been steady, and I lead a life worth living.

This just came to my mind as I've been listening to the traits of sigma women - there is a connection there; then this video was the 1'st that popped up on Google. I'm a high functioning aussie & a sigma woman. I find this very intriguing - also as aussies we often find the missing pieces of the puzzle & put them together. Yes I’m Sigma! I’m 76and just discover this and it’s why I never truly fit in. I like who I am but not everyone did. You don’t need everyone to like you. I wish I’d knew this earlier.

On the one hand I appreciate the words. On the other hand, I the scenery ...? How does one apply this knowledge to struggling income, race oriented challenges, being in physical prison sometimes innocent, gender identity challenges and more? And how is it made manifest is such folx lives? These can be "lessons" but then so is the stress of the grief, fear, rage, disillusionment etc. of living said lessons.

Being able to have this channel, I get answers and have understanding or who I am becoming. It's a great guide. Thanknyou again for sharing, surely is eye opening in my own journey.

I am 54yrs old and just discovered this personality description/label. THIS IS ME. I have cut off my whole family. I live my life completely in Solitude on my own, independent and happy. I have no true friends beyond casual, superficial relationships with co-workers. I am celibate and have never been married. Why? I was raped by my grandfather. My father abandoned me, my siblings and mother when I was 5. My grandmother kicked me out of her house when I was 12. I was an A student, trained to be a nun until I was 22 and strove to be a GOOD GIRL. I learned to never ask for help because I NEVER GOT IT. My siblings all went their separate ways, basically used me and when I had nothing else to give, they ignored me. I tried to earn and work for approval, respect, sympathy and love. I got nothing. When I was in my teens, I noticed that if someone or something truly BOTHERED ME to my CORE, I would flip a switch in my head and say "Click", then I NEVER messed with that thing or person again, EVER. People who knew me would remark on it, saying my self-control or will power was exemplary. I was described as being an Old Soul who didn't play like other kids or act immature like an adolescent. I was described as an introvert which I whole hearted agree with. I was known to be shy and awkward and still am, because I can't do a lot of small talk. I can't stand braggarts, bullies, liars or posers. I could never have CASUAL SEX or engage in random dating or relaxed intimacy. I was so raw and felt vulnerable most of my childhood. My 20s & 30s were unique and desperate times because I was still trying to cultivate and save my family and my place. Thankfully by the time I turned 40, I FINALLY realized that I had wasted my Life on people who only pretended to care because they were trained to, forced to or they did when something was in it for them. I've been betrayed, insulted and both emotionally and physically abused by "Family" and "Blood Relatives". When I became an adult and began living on my own, I was strong and resilient because I already knew not to expect or desire anything from anyone because if the people who raised me and went to church with me and celebrated holidays with me could just turn their backs on me- it was insane for me to think strangers would be any different. I have had wonderful experiences with human beings but overall, I am so EXHAUSTED from surviving and living most of my life as the Walking Wounded. It's only been about 5 years since I've truly stopped feeling ashamed and guilty for finally standing up for my self and just Taking My Life Back to Live In Peace- with no fake sentiment, forced interactions, DRAMA, emotional manipulations, resentments, swallowed pride, hereditary familial TRAUMA passed down for GENERATIONS and secret shames. I honestly just want to be left alone in MY BLESSED SOLITUDE with my fur baby. In Societal terms you could say I'm a spinster, old maid or crazy cat lady. I HONESTLY DO NOT GIVE A FLYING F%$#@! And as Nina Simone sang........"I'm Feeling Gooooooooooooood."
