Forest of Dean - eMTB - Downhill Trail Selection with Spot Grading Information
A longish video (don't say I didn't warn you) of FIVE 1 and 2 spot graded Downhill Trails at the ever improving Forest of Dean Cannop Cycle Centre.
After a heavy day of rain, the conditions were generally quite poor - very slippy for the most part with some heavy soil erosion and ice-like roots thrown in. No records set here.
For those that want to know, it's filmed on a GoPro Hero 9 with the Max Lens Mod and Horizon Levelling enabled (2.7k at 60fps) - upscaled to 4K. The PoV image is incredibly stable and a game changer in my opinion.
And for those that will no doubt point it out, the whopping great big phone on the bars IS actually functional - I run the brilliant BLEvo Android App for my 2019 Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert to control motor power allowing precision adjustment of output based on my leg input power and heartrate - it's an amazing tool for maintaining fitness on an eMTB, preventing over-use of the motor assistance. The phone survives on the bars longer than it does in my pocket.
And finally, I'm fairly new to both video editing and riding these tougher types of "techy" downhill trails - I'm no expert at either! But hopefully the video will be of interest for someone that hasn't yet had the change to visit these brilliant trails and may be considering it.
Personally, I love this location and it just gets better and better. Definitely recommended.

Bit of fun chasing my mate on his eMTB down a few of the trails at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre ... after some fairly heavy rain. Some of the trails were pretty sloppy - all adds to the fun, even if it destroys bike components at the rate of knots. Roll on spring!

Footage straight out of the camera at 2.7K at 50fps - No post processing ... Horizon Levelling and Hypersmooth ON - almost gimbal-like - very impressed as this descent was quite rough (not to mention muddy). Love the way the Horizon Levelling shows the bike leaning instead of the image leaning.

A non-competitive run up the wonderful Prescott Speed Hill Climb course. No helmets, no shoes, no timing, just masses of fun taking people out. What can I say? No helmets, no seatbelts, no shoes, not a lot of technology and more importantly very little grip - but maximum fun. Seriously mental bit of kit - I love this thing - purely non-competitive fun blast in the gorgeous Model T up the superb Prescott Hill Climb in Gloucestershire. Hi - thanks! Always use Corsa Performance exhausts on all the Raptors I've had ... they're beautifully made, fit perfectly, sound great and last for years. Recommened. 🙂 Apologies for the total lack of recent content - I'm just too busy to edit videos these days.

I did! After 7 faithful years and 138,000 trouble free miles, the old V8 has finally gone ... Loving the 545bhp out of the new V6 Twin Turbo though.

Great video, I think the DJI tracking ability is very limited I have the original Mavic pro and have been doing a bit of drone MTB filming. The skydio 2 drone is way better at tracking but unfortunately its difficult to get one in the UK

Nicely done, love the track. I'm saving up right now for my Quaife sequential which IMHO is one of the best things about the Atom (Unfortunately the Sadev box isn't available for the Supercharged Ecotec 2l here in the US so Quaife it is)
