Great video and short and concise, but there can still be additional issues. A little longer for more coverage would help, especially since it's not so easy to see why the olive hat was way too tight. I'm guessing because it didn't go all the way down without a little pulling. It would be good to see both too small and too large. Some issues I'm noticing: #1: Depending on the shape of your head, there may be more/less room for fingers on the side and be tighter in front. #2: How deep into the hat the top of your head is likely to extend, and ear position. (Mine is a tad below the top so it doesn't rest in it, hat just barely above the top of my ears.) Unlike my baseball cap, which is a tight fight with limited give and I must put on my head with some force, this hat sort of 'rests' on my head with just a little friction. If I have a mark from wearing the hat, it's very light since it's not as 'held in place' as the baseball cap is. That's the best way this novice can describe how I did fitting.

I just bought another Tilley and you’re just gonna have to try them on. I recently tried on a number of them. 3 I ordered, several more in two different stores. I’ve tried 7 1/2 that fit the same as 7 1/4. 7 1/4 that fit the same as 7 1/2, and 7 3/8 that fit the same as either of the above. In other words, their sizes are inconsistent. That said, I LOVE my Tilley.

Having read all the comments on this issue of being able to tell fakes from authentic, the blind are leading the blind. As an ironic twist there is a Chinese woman posting videos on UA-cam showing people how to tell the difference, her advice on the badges is look out for the letter “G” if they look crook then it might be that you have got a counterfeit ! Also if the pocket zip inside the jacket is not situated close to the jacket zip that is also tell tale sign, the added layer of absurdity is that China is the home of fakery its a good chance both of her jackets where made in China and are therefore fake or she doesn’t even know which is real and which one is fake.

So the scammer is trying to rip me off by selling me a near identical coat for $250? I guess I will pay $1500 and make sure I get the stitching and spelling correct?

The translators need ro be fired lol, I just bought a jacket off of poshmark and they say they authenticate but im pretty the one they sent is fake I asked for a return waiting for their reply.

The reality is, it is nearly impossible to spot a good fake, and if you don’t have a genuine coat to compare it with, you might as well forget it.

And I doubt if your comparing two same models/jackets. How can you compare chilliwack telling fake one has Elastic at the bottom?

Older Canada goose jackets have Tags in a line, side by side (Not in booklet style). Only recently(few years ago) CG started tags/hologram in booklet. So that's not a red flag.

Canada goose writes on their website that from 2017 ALL their jackets will have the hologram label stichted to their jackets. So if Im not mistaken you either reviewed 2 fake ones or one thats made before 2017. Just curios of what reason or information you base on thats the hologram label is not used sometimes? :)

The blue is a real Giveaway, it goes a lighter blue in certain lighting, real ones don’t

LTM6 is now made in China...confirmed when calling them today. If the web page doesn't indicate "Made in Canada" then it's made in China. According to Tilley.....they are moving all hat production to China. Buy them now....soon they will be all China made.

Wow. Finally. An explanation of their sizing. I previously purchased a Tilley hat, measuring my head as the web-site explains it, and I always felt it was too tight. Hopefully my next Tilley (ordered after watching your video) will fit.

I have 5 Tilley hats (T3, LTM6, LTM3 and 2 Mash-ups). All of them are 7 5/8, and all fit different!
