How Playable is the Guitar in a Starter Pack?
Переглядів 988 днів тому
I picked this up to donate to a Giving Tree event at my new job. While I had it, I thought that I would check to see just how playable a guitar in a cheap starter pack would be.

I know that I had another video of the same stuff, but 1) I wanted to make a short, but it didn't work out, and 2) the audio sucked. I wrote this years ago; it's part of a bigger song. Anyway, Vlog no. 2 coming Friday.
Wishnevsky Harp Guitar For Sale
Переглядів 4378 місяців тому
I had grand visions of learning how to do stuff on the harp guitar. Nope. Gotta move this along, so it's here as a reference.
Does that model have a skunk stripe on the back of the neck. Yes I know it isn’t a skunk, guitarist and their crazy terms.
nope.
Frets don’t sprout that implies the frets grows…they don’t they were either to long or the wood shrunk.
Correct.
Dude, I watch your videos. 😉
@@WickedFesterBand aww man! Thanks! I shouldn’t have said that. I was just imagining what some smart ass might have said. Maybe I should cut that out.
Woulda picked a different color but KOOL gesture on your part, somebody , while they may not realize it , is gonna get very lucky IMO !!! Sounds nice like a STRAT should of course.
@@2n3chordjams70 the kids these days… with their happy colors and optimism! Thanks, Don!
Good vid
Thanks!
Keep going man you made a great video and I think you will go somewhere if you don’t give up
Thanks. I try to not take myself too seriously.
Sounding good!
@@RoseAkerman thanks!
Hey Jesse! Watching and listening!! I never heard of him - but appreciate the tribute and the background on him. He sounds like a great man! I've always loved your playing! Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Not on purpose! Oh 0:13:53, there you ARE!!! And, not arrogant...truthful. Great Vlog! Stay well!
Thanks, Laurie! All good in the neighborhood. I haven't been around much either, I know. Don finally twisted my arm enough to get back to doing videos. I've always appreciated your support! Have a good holiday!
Beautiful playing Jesse.👍👍👍👍
Thanks, Mitch!
THis sounds good, Jesse! 🎶💖🎸🔥🎵 Cheers! \|/
Thanks, Marc!
Lol, dude well done.
I've got a early reactor and predator. Beautiful neck on these are amazing. 12 inch radius and Hartley peavey 3 piece necks. If you look on back of neck you'll notice the line that joins pieces. Add the fretboard, and it makes a super stable neck. I ended up swapping out tuners. Electronics, pup's on both. Put some SD 1/4 pounder for tele, and a 4 way on my reactor and Wow!
A four way could be cool. What does the fourth position do? I like quarter pounders. I put them in a Squier that I used to have. I really have no complaint with these pickups, though. They're plenty fat stock. Thanks for stopping by.
That was cool dude, I don't know how I missed this one when you released it.
@@ktkmcommunications2298 All good. Thanks, Tom!
That was beautiful. Well done. 😊
@@ktkmcommunications2298 thanks, Tom!
Now THAT is saying something. Beautiful job, brother.
Aww! Thanks, man.
Guitars has a GREAT clean sound and while not flashy looking has eyes !!!! Blues on !!!!!!
@@2n3chordjams70 thanks, Don!
lookin forward to it !!!
Dude, I love this Vlog adventure you set out on. It's awesome, and I agree with you the bridge pickup from my vantage point also looked fairly flat. 1/8 of an inch, tops.... 😅😂😂. Keep on this new adventure, I love the encouragement you give.
@@ktkmcommunications2298 thanks! Hope you’re doing well!
VERY KOOL video buddy, now I'll do a butcher review of my recent Yamaha LP acquisition and I see your few clams ( none in the intro that I heard ) and raise them by MANY!!!!🙃
Cheer up matey,I've sucked for over 60 years🙃Nice to see ya ✌🙏
Good to see you too, man! How's it going?
Sounds lovely. I've been eyeing the white one for a year, but now you've got my wanting the red one!
This very guitar is for sale at Fanny's House of Music in Nashville at this moment.
This is beautiful Jesse. Glad you are back.
Thanks, Mitch!
Dude, that was amazing as usual, and that guitar finally got to grow into itself thanks to you. I wish I could have made that sound as good, maybe after Seminary I will get after it again. I sing with our praise team next week, so that will be fun.
Thanks, Don!
I see your 1 CLAM and raise it 3 to four of them in any of my JAM vids 🙃 Contradictions of MAN , the ol' ID vs EGO phenomenon 🤔 KOOL vid !!!
Hi Don.
Great little tune. Sounds really great❗👍👍👍
Love the song and playing!
Great guitar, great playing, and great inspiration on just doing the thing, to the relevance of communicating with others. I look forward to your videos, and to the outcomes of heeding your words.
Dude! Welcome back, my friend. It has been too long. That's probably the first time some ever heard your voice in a video. A little heavy, but good message. Nice progressions, sounded awesome. 😊
Welcome to, "Old Dude Ponders Life". Thanks. Wait until you see next week.
WELCOME BACK !!! Interesting video for sure, lost me when you started talking the foreign ( to me ) theoretical language 🙃 but dig the clean sounds and that guitar and VERY KOOL melody at the very end !!! MORE !!!!!!!
@@2n3chordjams70 thanks, Don!

How many Strats do you have? ;) 👍✌😎
I have a really nice, SRV strat that isn't going anywhere. These two are pretty similar in the h/s/s format, so one of them is going to go.
@@jessesguitars6316 how many Peaveys do you have Jess? Question answered? ;)
