5 day fishing trip in British Columbia. We waited 3 years for this trip due to COVID delays, and sadly when the trip finally happened the fishing was stinky. That said, overall the trip was amazing due to great weather, great food, amazing humpback whales and great friendships.

Part 2 of our amazing vacation to Tahiti. The InterContinental Resort was amazing, I'd highly recommend it. Snorkeling was not great there, but you can easily take a day trip to Moorea for great snorkling.

Had an awesome 4 day trip with Rocky Point Resort in Petersburg, AK. This video shows our boat pulling in a 163 lb. Halibut. During our stay, they had fish like this every day, including a 196 lb. and 142 lb.
Expensive trip for poor fishing
Tribes have destroyed that fisherie... Does no good when only half the community practices conservation and the other half rapes it
Wow expensive trip for no damn fish. Thanks for video always thought I wanted to go there now I know not too
I have been to Rivers Ilet Three times and it really isn't very good. The last time nobody at the lodge caught fish. Me and my wife never even got a bite. By the way August is the time to go,around the 10th.
@@MrSarge99 used to be the beesknees back in the 90s and early 2000's. Doesn't help that they let tribes from all the way over on the Alberta border come. I was told its the heaviest tribal fished area on the entire North American west coast because so many tribes have claims to it
Fishing in Canada, they’re called Spring or Chinook. Not Kings. But you are calling the Coho and not Silvers so that’s good! 🎣
Great stuff Greg! Looks like Steelheading at its finest!!! Looks like as much work as it was at Legacy Lodge! Cheers, Ryan Pohl
Fishing is a lot of fun. I love fishing videos.stay connected!
Nice work I love the sol duc if you’re down for a challenge try the bear Creek run it’s a war but we’ll worth it
I thought you couldn’t fish out the boat on the duc?🤷♂️
Downstream of where we launched you could fish from the boat.
@@gregkeyser6355 Actually, no you cannot fish from any boat on those waters. Including downstream as you state
@@johnstratton9011 You are wrong. We checked the WDFW regulations and were with a guide who also confirmed that fishing from a boat was allowed. And if you check the regs even today, you will see that fishing is allowed from a boat downstream of where we launched.
From maxfield down, you can!!
Far drive
I often just drop anchor and pay a couple of plugs out and work them slowly down the run. I catch more fish by plugging at anchor than I do when I'm rowing. Don't know why, but it's way less work.
Would recommend going end of august, just got back and we maxed out on salmon and halibut. Great video 👍😀
I’ve fished Rivers late July and early August with little success. You suggest end of August is better fishing?
