Thanks for the calm explanation of your point of view. This encourages me to try to run 6th edition. I have a lot of 4th edition sourcebooks but struggled with the complexity.

I just did all my terrain and it was a major pain in the ass to get it to fight properly together. I ended up using the flat side of my sprue cutters to shave off a bit from one side of each of the connectors and that sped the process up massively. If you want to sand/file thats fine but 2 things: 1) Wear gloves 2) Wear a proper mask - at least N95 The macro. and micro plastic from filing is no joke and not something you want on your skin and especially lungs!

Finally found a copy of this. It’s a good game for sure. It is a rules lite (and slightly different) version of Warcry. I like how they gave you the ability to play 6 different factions in the game. I have 4 of them now.

I have creed camp but thought it’d be too dark but this looks way better than I expected

We are all struggling with money worries and bills. This is not the first time his money problems has meant he has asked others to pay his bills ect. There are homeless people out in the streets hungry and cold what about helping them ??? I am not for throwing money down the drain to be asked again to repeat this in a few months time,. His history shows how unreliable he is. His video content has faded away into just rambling on and very little terrain being made , even after others payer his bills months ago.he's back again asking for his bills to be payed WHAT'S really going on ???

The colors look really good; they're not exactly cheap either. I've never used any other paint besides Citadel. I also don't know if I can buy them anywhere in a local game shop. And thanks for the bloopers, they made me laugh, and they're so relatable. 😊

after reading the instructions in the rulebook and watching this video, i still have no clue how this works… why not just choose random territories from the list? i had hoped necromunda would be a tiny bit more accessible😅

As an old school shadowrun GM, I love 6e. It's very approachable for new players, more of a heroic fantasy game and less of a crunchy tactical sim (that's what Battletech is for). The best thing about the new edge system is simplifying bonus/penalty counts. No more "ok -4 because of the heavy rain and darkness, but +3 for NVGs, and +2 for smart link, but -1 because he's behind a box, but +1 because I have a friend flanking with coms...." BS. Also, mages are properly scary. Geek the mage first chummers.

I love the lore of Shadowrun and the setting. I'm hoping that I can actually find a game to join in at some point. Even if that means that I'd have to GM it.

Shadowrun is my favorite setting and system (with the exception of my rules set). I think 3rd edition is my favorite but I liked 5e. I cut out a bit of the crunch but still liked it

This is such a fantastic run down. I’m a huge fan of the SR games on Steam and the cyberpunk genre in general. I looked into The Sprawl, which is clearly a labor of love, but it feels a little thin on rules where it needs to be tighter (advancing trust relationships) and tight where it needs loosening up (mission clock). Still an awesome idea but the TTRPG version of Shadowrun looks like a more developed system. Think I’ll have to take the plunge 😄

So im new rpgs, i wanna run a game for my kids and picked up shadowrun 3rd on recs of folk online. The only rpg book ive read that is more inaccessible is Traveller. Like i cant work out how you test stuff. Its just not a very well written book. So much thumbing from page to page for seemingly basic stuff. So hoping this improved for 6th.

I have to present a counter to your arguement that people who dont like shadowrun 6e are just more fond of older editions. I started d&d with 5e and I hate 5e. I later found other versions of d&d or derivative games of d&d that I like better. I don't have nostalgia, I just dislike d&d 5e. At all. So when I hear people say they don't like shadowrun 6e like it's the bad edition or the mistep, I appreciate that sentiment.

I always use matte varnish on my game models no matter of the material because people "help" clean up the table by putting all your miniatures in their hand where they rub together. One time I loaned out some figures I had just painted, but hadn't varnished yet to a friend to run demos during a con and after two days of playing all the paint on their heads or helmets were rubbed down to the bare plastic. While they insist they use no mold release compound, the resin weeps sometimes, even after it's cured and even if it's bone dry, for some reason water or alchohol based primers (like brush on primers or through an airbrush) beads up, they get better results with a rattlecan primer for some reason. I guess the enamel paint coats better?

4 of my friends and myself played SO much Shadowrun back in the 1990s! An absolutely amazing TTRPG! Love the whole world and all the different race/classes/characters!

What size board do you need to play? Is there a minimum size or minimum terrain etc. Looking at making my own

Purely tactical but theres no point in making a mele situation go first with an ini roll coz thers gonna be combat anyway on both sides also a think u did your self with zax lol hes way more op than u think i.e. you rolled a 1 for zax wich gves him 10 and a 2 for the bounty hunter 7 with a pistol if a read it right

I'm sorry buddy but it's happening, those people you guys want to keep away from the hobby GamesWorkshop & the Shareholders wants them to try out their IPs because they want to go mainstream, and that simply can't happen without change. Just like when the Comic Industry added the first Female Superhero back during in 1940 and the first Black Superhero in 1947, yeah I'm sure people back in the day didn't like this but that's how change works in the world. And right now GamesWorkshop is attempting to diversify their franchises, and don't want to cater to a specific group of people anymore and we will see if they fail or succeed. But not everyone likes "change" especially when something feels like it won't belong to you anymore. But hopefully Female Custodes won't prevent you from enjoying the hobby anymore.
