    Thank you for this video. I have being using an auto-level/stud-finder from 20 years ago. Devices back then, did not integrate so many options/features. Need to keep moving the detector back and forth to 'kind of' find the edge of stud, AND keep a pencil handy to mark that. After seeing your video, I will be upgrading to this Ryobi stud finder.

      This works nicely. I just used it he other day. It not only finds the edges but it tells you when you are centered on the stud. Simple, but right tool for the job 👍

    You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

    Bought one last year and cut about 3 cord of wood , I was impressed at the size of log it could split the only problem I had was the angled side pieces bent down from the weight of the wood but it wasn't a design flaw I was putting logs on it bigger than they recommended, very nice unit .

As it is a carry around for jobsite contractors and DIY enthusiasts working less than precision perfect finish fine cabinetry, like myself, it works well enough for my needs.

    • @alexplorer
      @alexplorer Рік тому

      You supply your own depending on your needs (e.g., you might want hold-downs if working on small wood, ratcheting clamps if working on something large, a centering jig if drilling pipe, etc.). I already have plenty clamps and T-track accessories, so I am happy they didn't include extras as that would just drive up the price for duplicate parts I don't require.

      @@ZynexPlays honestly, even if you count the person using it's height ?, even then it still won't be 15 ft reach, reason: the 5 ft person is never standing ( or should not be anyway ! ) standing directly under the limb they are cutting. i just bought this very pole saw yesterday, put it to a good test, i must say..it did really well !. i did not have to buy any batteries , as most of my power hand tools are dewalt anyway.
