My second time riding what is arguably the steepest downhill track in the world, Champery World Cup Track. It is great fun, next time I would like to do 3 or 4 laps of it to get to know it well. Hopefully next year........

Shoulders must have been fried by the end of the trip.
@@williamheffernan5826 surprisingly not at all. I would find a river trip in Ireland would kill my shoulder more as I would be pushing hard for the lot of it. It was all fairly calm and relaxed over there..
Just like the biking, spend most of your time stopped waiting for other people. 😅

Terribly sorry I don't have gpx for the route. We had hired a guide from Les Gets and cycled from there up along the road and then turned off onto single-track to the summit

Did you peddle up a lot of it? We did carrontohill last weekend ****me it was some hikeabike to the top. With 0 peddling from the base up it was hard. This is next on the list.
Pushed up the majority of it. We were able to pedal the flat(ish) middle section. It's nowhere near a push up as carrauntoohill. It's a lovely descent, better go early or late in day to avoid walkers for max enjoyment
Great skill and very smooth run considering it's steep AF.

I stayed in morzine. We cycled to les gets and samoens. I cannot say what nightlife is like in samoens. Hope this helps
