Welcome to the EtchON Multicard and Multi-Data Marking Project
In this project, we are setting up two EtchON laser machines to work sequentially for marking tasks. The first machine will mark text ("EtchON"), and the second machine will mark a QR code with a delay. The data for the QR code can be static, a serial number, or collected from a PLC.
To facilitate communication between the two machines, we are using a solid-state relay. The first machine will signal the second machine to start marking once it completes its process.
Steps for Configuration:
1. First Machine Setup:
• Open the Settings menu.
• Go to IO Configuration.
• Look for the Mark Output Port and set it to IO Out9.
• Save the settings and exit.
2. Second Machine Setup:
• Repeat the same steps as the first machine.
• Set the delay
• Set the input from the first machine by configuring the Out Control Start to IN1.
• Save the settings and exit.
3. Connecting the Machines:
• Connect the respective wires on the control board from the relay.
Operation:
Once all connections are finished, start the marking process on the first machine. After the first machine completes its marking, it will send a signal to the second machine, which will then start its marking process.
This setup allows for seamless operation between two or more machines.
