In this online recording of the event, The Mary Ann McCracken Foundation highlighted who and what Mary Ann championed in her 96 years including education, abolitionism, women’s and workers’ rights. In additional Baroness May Blood - ‘a current day Mary Ann’ - spoke on how she too has committed her life to fighting for the needs and rights of the people of Belfast and further afield.

On Thursday 18th November, over 120 people came to listen to the challenges facing Afghan women, which was the focus of this year’s Mary Ann McCracken Foundation annual lecture.
