Revelation Mountain Outfitters is an Alaskan Hunting Outfit owned and operated by Master Guide Tony Dingess and his amazing wife Renee. We are followers of Christ who believe in running our operation by a higher standard than what the code requires and we are striving to be the best in this business! Video clips are from us, our guides and sometimes a client or apprentice and we are not professional film producers but we hope you get a feel for what it’s like on an Alaskan hunt with us!

Hunting dall sheep with Revelation Mountain Outfitters. Two friends from Wisconsin head to Alaska to hunt dall sheep. One finds success on a huge ram while the other misses a big ram.

Opening day Aug 10, 2023. Only took 3 1/2 hours and a 1200' climb to get this hunter on a Ram of a lifetime.

It sounded like he either short stroked after the shot, or double racked after, negating the opportunity for a follow up. I watch a lot of hunting videos and it seems that this happens a lot on these guided hunts. Do you think it's an issue of preparedness on the part of the hunter? I'm just curios as I've never done that(have hunted deer, elk, black bear and wild boar) and wonder why I see it so often in these exotic hunts!
No he racked another round and was getting the bolt down. Just the excitement of the hunt after climbing 2,000’ and over a lot of big rocks.
