    Thanks for explaining which wires go to the knock sensors--that's a big help to me. Until I saw your video I thought the sensor wires were on the front side of the connector, not the back side. (I haven't taken the wiring harness out yet).

    If this is the standard of US presentation, then you can stuff You Tube. What a slobby guy. Who gives a F about his hair. He puts shoes on the table, a big no no, his place looks like it needs a good clean and his car is a crapper too. I do not need to see how slovenly some Americans live. Then came his car. Equally dilapidated. The 1.63k subscribers are paying for this guy to be a slob? Leave it out! Aim higher, if you know how.

    All the fuses under the hood of a new edge have constant power, the ones under the dash are where you need to go ones that only have power when key is turned, just for anyone that didn't no.

    6 months in the chevy dealership, still not fixed.End up replacing the starter, computer. Sure wished I had seen this first. And I know how much of a pain this is to drive with low engine power. But I will watch you again, thank you so much. I need more of you. You're a pro, with honesty, keep up the good work.

    seems like the box is a bit small for those subs to really get the deep bass you are looking for. I had a Bronco a while back with (1) 12 inch sub in it and the bass had excellent low end extension. The box was about 2 cubic feet and it was a sealed box.

    • @BlackWidowdetailing

      Thank you for the comment. I got rid of those subs a long time ago, then upgraded, got rid of those, then got Rid of the Tahoe, bought a Cargo Van for detailing, and then installed 2 12s in it lol

    ❤Great video bud. I got a question the black and white wire you say is connected to the rear of the engine block appears to be coming out the wire harness. How did you figure out that was the wire that was connected to the block if you can't really see it?

    • @BlackWidowdetailing
      @BlackWidowdetailing 3 місяці тому

      Honestly, I can't remember, but I think I pulled it out of the harness and traced it back to the block

    • @J.Crooner
      @J.Crooner 3 місяці тому

      Oh ok I'll do my best to find it but let me ask you. I have the old HUMMER H2 and a few days ago I attempted to start my truck it came on for about 5 seconds and cut off as if it was low on fuel or something but wasn't. When I tried to start it back up I got a clicking sound and it sounded like electricity was simply free flowing through the entire wire harness under the hood when attempting to send electrical power to the truck without trying to start it. I couldn't figure out what was going on so the truck stayed sitting for two days and I do have a kill switch that I installed. When I came back to the truck two days later and turned on the kill switch to reactivate the power to the truck I heard a loud pop sounded like a gunshot 😳 and then I saw smoke coming from the passenger side of the engine. All of this happened without the truck even being on. If you know of any possible clues as to what has happened let me know when you get the chance because for the moment I'm lost.🤷

      Had the same thing happen to me, had to drill a hole into the center of the left over part of the knock sensor in the block with an EZ out (or you and use a torx bit if you don't have the EZ out), just make sure to vacuum all of the metal shavings out before removing the threaded bit so the don't fall down into the engine.

    TThanks for your video! I wonder...my 05 LeSabre, bank 2 sensor. Both sensors read at 100 K ohms. The tap test for both seemed ok. The bypass effort...When u wire two resistors in parallel it reduces the total resistance by about half. Now the computer only sees 50 000 ohms instead of 100,000 ohms for each one. ,I could put a 50 K ohm resistor in line with the two sensors so that the computer will see the 100K again....Maybe it will be happier and not change the engine timing. The bank 2 has been changed before (while the tranny was out) but code remains. Also did continuity check of the wiring from the sensor to the computer plug and was good wiring. Still have the code..Engine is running great. No noticeable knock. These sensors are mounted in blind (dry) holes so no coolant leaks during replacement. May try the bypass method using the 50 k ohm resistor...TBD Thanks again for your video. jP

    • @BlackWidowdetailing
      @BlackWidowdetailing 6 місяців тому

      Do u not have the option for it? A lot of the Newedges came with the wiring already installed. If u don't have the wiring already in the car and u have the Amp rack tho and the harness for the rack u could probably find a wire color wiring diagram and then hook it up to a positive and negative and the find the individual wiring for the speakers and wire them all up as well

    • @Xbreakshwd

      I'll have to check and pop open the factory amps and subs by the rear window. I might be able to just take those wires and plug and play with the amp rack
