I’ve never experienced this before and have always been busy. I took a month off for my wedding + honeymoon and was all consumed by planning in the months leading up to my wedding. In my experience, every client who has asked for and received a discount is a difficult client. If they complain about your price, let them go somewhere else. I refuse to give discounts. I may run a special of a few dollars off over Christmas, but that is it. It is also important to know who your clients are. My clients are 50 and older.
