This exact thing happened to my friend, I heard that there was a face it breach a while ago, and that people have been searching for leetify on google and input their login on a fake website. Idk is this is what happened to him or to you, but I hope that it doesn’t happen to you in the future. Btw, might wanna can passwords and stuff just in case if you haven’t already.

My friend got hacked like this too. Idk how this works but he had 2step verification too and a really hard password. luckily he didnt have his skins so he didnt loose a lot.

make sure to turn on family mode next time, stops basically all scams

Its probably a mkarket. When you sign in by exemple to CsFloat there is that option that say that the website can accept trade for you.

Steam guard bypass is very real. Works without phishing. They could just crack your pw and get into your account without the help of your carelessness. It doesn't matter whether your inventory API is leaked because it only allows scammers and hackers to spy on your inventory and nothing else. This can happen no matter how careful you are. Valve seemingly doesn't care and lets hijacked skins be a part of the skin economy. The only way to avoid this is to use a complicated password and change it frequently.

Lot of people here dont understand you dont have to login anywhere or click something fishy to get scammed… these hackers are really smart nowadays my friend got scammed for 400€ the skins just were gone out of nowhere… he never clicked someting or logged on any site….and he also had a authentificator :D this CAN happen to ANYONE! Iam really scared for my skins and I might even sell them because I dont wanna lose 1k €

Hi, same thing happened to me, I had around 300 dollars inventory, but like in may i sold the skins and kept only my ak redline, cause i loved the ak, and wanted some pack in Fifa, so the inventory could be like 50 at that moment, but i wanted to play CS again with my friends, I opened skinbaron, that im going to buy the skins i sold back, so i opened my steam inventory, to look what skins are missing, and my inventory was also empty, and steam said they can´t do anything about it, even tho it was few days ago, and the "hacker" had the skins in his inventory, they said they are not helping me. I have email, phone number and steam guard and that guy still managed to steal the skins, its crazy :D

yeah i fell for the same scam a year ago. Its just hurts, that some people doesn't have a life:(
