A very underrated singer. Unfortunately Gil got into country music at the wrong time. Gil wanted to sing actual country not that garbage rap shit country that came out in the new century.

Gil is a highly underrated singer. Pretty sure this wasn't his kind of music . He's very much old style country. He just played at our local theater in Musquodoboit doing Conway Twitty tribute. In my opinion he is better than Conway Twitty.
