This song is a lot darker when you learn its about the serial killer Harold Shipman who killed over 200 people and is believed to be the most prolific serial killer in UK history
Shipman was my mum's doctor before she died of heart disease. Luckily she was poor. Before the daze of the internet The Fall were singing about satanism and masonry and everything else. A boddingtons philosophy....like Leave the Capital.
