Fröhlichen Internationalen Dudelsacktag! Habe endlich dieses Projekt fertiggestellt. Der Soundtrack ist aus "The Hobbit". Die Instrumente im Hintergrund (Flöte, Trompete, Posaune, Tuba) wurden mit Musescore 3 erstellt. Der Videoschnitt erfolgte mit Davinci Resolve. Were you using an air compressor? Never saw you blow into the bag?
Hi! Glad you liked it! You see a set of Border Pipes in the video. Like many other pipes (for example the well known "Uilleann Pipes" ) they are not mouth blown. These Pipes are "Bellows blown", so the bellows under my right arm push the air into the bag. You can see the movement of the bellows very well, also the amount of air that's blown into the bag with every arm-open-close.
Is there sheet music for this? I would like to learn it

I bought a set of mouth blown border pipes from Chris Bayley about 18 years ago and they were horrible. The drones were not in tune with the chanter and they seemed to be made by carving with a knife. I paid a total of $1,300 and waited a year for them and he refused to give me a refund when i asked for it. You seem to have gotten lucky...
I'm sorry about that... Bayley is making Uilleann Pipes now and didn't answer my inquiry for a new Reed more than two years ago... I'm happy (and maybe lucky) now with my patchwork set. Bought the set without Chanter Reed from "Bagpipe refurb co." in Scotland. The pipe maker Patrik Kraft from Germany made the Chanter. It's playing a good high B and most semitones. I can recommend this man! Hope you found your set of pipes after this time!

@@ApoIogeticsMan Glad to hear this. I heard of these and most people are amazed! If the Morrison Pipes are only half as good as Fred himself is playing... Incredible piper and a unique character. I'm sure that his Pipes are showing off the same!
Das Lied ist leider nicht spielbar. Da sind falsche Töne drin. Man muss nicht etwas auf Teufel heraus auf Pipes spielen, was nicht spielbar ist.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! The Pipes are Border Pipes, well known in the scottish lowlands. The other instruments were composed using Musescore, free available at musescore.com/

Das Lied ist eigentlich nicht schwer zu spielen, braucht lediglich 2 für die GHB ungewöhnliche Halbtöne. Am längsten dauert es, das Instrument selbst zu erlernen :)
