Can you please do a video taking us through the steps of putting this machine into auto 1? I have one, but I'm having some trouble figuring out.How to get it to do anything impressive?And I do not have a manual

What happens if the dip switch is set to 4 and 8? I’m looking to buy one of these on eBay but they claim the side lights don’t work I’m thinking if they changed the dip switches up they will come on.

Different tools for different jobs. It all depends on the look you want.

What would u lean more towards. A bar type led or more of like a par profile type led.

not unless you want to spend a bunch of money one fixture. uplighting gets beat up, because it's on the floor, so i'd be careful about spending a lot of money on floor mounted fixtures. But hey if you've got the cash... If you want a bar type fixture, take a look at the ColorRail.

No, the lights have to be attached to the bar to work, its a 4-pin screw-in connection. Take a look at the SlimPar56, I've got 20 of those, that's what I use for uplighting, they work great.

I'm considering gettin these not for dj gigs but for uplighting on a stage. Or even wash lighting. Can they be detached from the bar and used indevidualy like the mega pars??

I am sorry you did not find the review helpful, but the point is to talk about my own experience with the light, not to just read the spec sheet (which is available on chauvetlighting(dot)com). This is a simple sound to light fixture, no dmx, so the modes are very basic. I figured between my ending shots and one's chauvet's channel that was pretty much apparent. FYI, I did not win the contest with this review I won over six months ago.

Wow, it takes a 5 minute review like this to win without even show what functions the fixture does.

Those fixtures are very close in output, I think two ColorPalettes will be slightly brighter at the fixture but at the dance floor the difference would be negligible. It really will depend on what you plan to use them for specifically, I like the look of ColorPalettes but that is personal opinion. Also, ColorPalettes are easier to program, if you plan on using DMX. The Mini 4Bar 2.0 is easier to aim in multiple or odd directions. Otherwise it's all about the look that you're going for.

The only differences on the 1.0 and the 2.0 is that the 2.0 is brighter, and the addition of DMX functionality. If you don't plan on using a separate DMX controller, I wouldn't worry about it, assuming you got a decent deal. The 2.0 can be synced to other 2.0s, and some other fixtures. The DMX controller will give you the ability to create custom programs not contained in the fixture itself, but is not necessary for operation. I believe the 1.0's can be sycned, without a controller, as well.

Hi, I just came across your clip...I actually just got 3 sets of the mini pro 4 bar...I didn't realize I wasn't getting the newess model...should I make a fuss and switch them for the 2.0s? Also..do you need a seperate DMX controler on the 2.0 or as long as you link them up to one another they're sinked? Correct me if I'm wrong but thats the only way you can link the older model...is if you have a controler...

Had 6 of these delivered today, fired them up, and they are unbelievable ! LED technology has come a long way! We will be using these for a national band based in Chicago in venues with all size stages .Will run them with my DMX board, get to start the programming tomorrow, for the first time in years ,I'm actually looking forward to doing this!These lights are AWESOME!
