The problem is more then likely the people around you being stupid and not giving you enough space like some dumb ass who once tried to go around me between me and a wall with very little space. One guy I knew had a side view mirror mounted on to his power chair.

From my experience over the past 10 years dealing directly with family Caregivers.....you touched on the use of social media...while its true that the older population that have been historically over the last 25 years the ones affected....but...now I am seeing more 60+ 70+ individuals and Caregivers....who are already using social media...and especially since covid...are more used to it now. Lots of programs done virtually etc. ....so I believe there is great opportunity to share via FB, Instagram, Reddit and Twitter. Keep it up!!! I will be sharing your website and already shared this youtube video on my social media sites!! THANK YOU for all you are doing.

If only the school system could educate you ,on what to expect when you continue aging to the time you become a senior citizen. I always tell my little cousins that when you become old very very old assume no one wants to take care of you and assume that even your family don’t want to take care of you. Prepare Who will take care of you where will you be taken care of and in the event you lose your mind how will you be cared for. I tell them exactly what’s happening to me caring for two senior citizen you no longer have a life your life is 24 seven watching them. my father has been honest with me that when he passes on there’s not much to leave for me. My mother was blessed with a good paying career through her I am able to caregive 24/7. the point is money. my point is that I say to my little cousins money is probably what’s going to help others treat you well when you are old. forgive my grammar typing on iPhone drives me crazy.
