I just use the attenuation on the 101mp and set the IPO to 0 (pre amps off). I usually set attenuation to 6db or 12db if lightening crashes are real bad. Late at night when things have quietened right down I turn the attenuation off. Also, I run a Pixel Loop RF Pro 1B which help massively on 40 meters and marginally on the other bands up to 30Mhz.
