I live in Louisiana and growing up a friend of mine had a Torino GT with a 4v Cleveland! Now he ported the heads and had a tunnel ram with 2 550 Holley dbl pumps that came off a early 70s trans am! He had a top loader 4 sd and a 9 inch rear with 4.56 gears! That was late 70s early 80s and when he launched the car it would literally ride most of first gear with the front wheels in the air! It ran 10.70s and back then that was screaming for a street car! Peace!

I grew up there as a kid too, I was born in Oxnard but grew up in port hueneme which they are basically the same town or what ever. Then in 97 I moved to Bakersfield cali and unfortunately been living here since. I really miss the weather there and the fun I used to have as a kid going to the pier there and fishing with my old man. Good times!

I can't believe how much this place has changed. I lived there from late 60's to early 70's, my parents moved us back to Texas. I hate this place and have always wanted to move back to Port Hueneme but something always keeps me here. One day I will have my chance. It is so beautiful...
