I think she HAS handled them before, but Judy would be an OUTSTANDING criminal court judge. Might have to make some adjustments in 2024 but she would be. And Judy could handle NATIONAL cases too, major felonies but conflicts or public admiration for her might affect bias, etc. Could be an issue since she is SO popular with SUCH a track record. Would have to pass the perhaps not FITNESS for duty portion, but the problem of Judy being a national treasure, international and so well-known already, and her views. Who knows.....?
