oh! Let's think about time a little and turn the clock back a few years. I remember my childhood in the 60s and 70s. When a person died in an ordinary family. They buried him solemnly. They carried him out of the house to the sounds of an orchestra. The coffin was placed on a stand outside, everyone said goodbye. The orchestra played. Then all the relatives and colleagues at work took part in a solemn memorial dinner at the house of the deceased after the funeral. There were mentions of a calm and good person leaving for another world. Now human life has devalued in the eyes of society and you learn about the death of friends a few months after the funeral.

This is the way this tune was meant to be done, It is too bad these lads just did a demo and didn't get the opportunity to cut a single. I don't care for Sandie Shaw's #21 UK hit version because it is overproduced and too calculatingly commercial, losing the song's charm.

Hi! This is one of the most enchanting songs I have been lucky enough to stumble across, (truly what the internet is good for!), but as this is a demo recording, the quality isn't the best. So, as dumb as this question may be, was there ever a full recording that you manage to have access to? And if there is, please publish it, because this is a perfect song. Or at least one of the best that I have heard as of late
