N64 Portable in a Sega GameGear part 1: planning
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition is the goat of racing games from that time period
@Slurs910 i never played that one but midnight club was amazing in general
I got 2001 just because of the blue. Probably won’t even play it lol
I played the original Link's Awakening on the Game & Watch and also the Switch (using an emulator) and I've apparently concluded that the owl's hooting sounds slightly different.
@@whyareyouherehuh i can believe that lol
I didn't really like the psp version
Mini Game boy
How do you get to spyro
@Noobiest_Noob76 i can't remember if it was on there already or not but, if it wasn't you just put the SD card into a computer and drag the rom file into the ps1 folder
@@wolfsquatch ok thanks
What is that called
It's a custom handheld n64 i built using a gamegear, I call it the Mercury64
Can you play the multiplayer?
I haven't tried but I think.you can if you use an external controller through the OTG port on top of the device
How did the expansion pack fit in
@@davidaamaya1 i have a video showing the expansion pack built on the board. Check out my other shorts.
I have this game, its a nice arcade game set.
I remember when this came out in '93 I had just turned 16 and had to clean out a women's back yard full of weeds it took me almost 6 hours ripping out weeds and roots then black bagging it in huge commercial Bags it was in the middle of September I was dirty and sweaty I couldn't forget that day. The woman paid me $40 I took the money and bought this Garbage. I was sooo Disappointed I felt like I got ripped off. All that work for Nothing. I remember the gameplay was really bad it was really choppy. It basically was unplayable. The music was crap. Maybe i was expecting too much for the gameboy. I certainly felt it could of done a lot better though. The following year when MK2 came of for the Gameboy that was alot better still a little choppy but but much much better
@Paul-k3d i know how you feel, I used to have way higher expectations when it came to handheld ports of console games lol one for example wasn't a port really but it was conkers pocket tales for the Gameboy. I thought it'd be like conkers bad fur day for n64 lmao
@@wolfsquatch you too? OMG so I know it's not me. Thanks man I appreciate you reaching out because this lame port of MK literally scarred me for Life l.mao. Nah seriously it was a bad call on my part. When you look at Mortal Kombat ports in the electronic gaming monthly of May or June of 1993 They looked absolutely awesome. SNES, Sega Genesis, Game gear and of course Playboy Errrr I mean Gameboy. But honestly it was the Gameboy that had me perplexed because I couldn't believe that it could of handled the graphics. You got to say it looked Pretty impressive No? But gameplay was a whole lot different and I mean in a bad way. That's when I learned never judge a game by screen shots because there are so many dynamics at play here no pun intended. Let's just say I got seriously burned with this one because $40 dollars back then was a lot of money for a 16 year old in 1993. But seriously I really appreciate you tooting your horn on this. Nice to meet ya.
Anderson Edward Robinson Thomas Jones Amy
I have that same game!
@@CuteyAnimations actually a really good monopoly game
One thing i noticed is that The screen looks bigger than a normal GBC.
@@CuteyAnimations it is slightly bigger.
Is this Gameboy advance SP backwards compatible with the original gameboy?
@@CuteyAnimations yes
It looks like Sega Game Gear.
@@leonardpayne8795 it's made out of one
Voluummmeeeee ⬆️⬆️⬆️😂😂
Why wasn't Lego Battles Ninjago look something like that?
de que trata el truco que activaste?
Gboy print? You have a 3d printer? Why not use easy tinkercad design your own case and print!
@MrMods-SlipStreamGT I'm not experienced in tinkering or anything like that. I tried but this was originally gonna be a competition entry and I was running out of time. I like the old methods anyways :p I'm gonna learn eventually though
thats sick! is their a guide you followed, if so what
@@PenguinBoi27 check out bitbuilt.net
Took you fucking ages. I missed ye.
@Gameboy_1992 yeah it's been busy lately I've had to put it on hold a few times lol
It's like if the N64 and the Game Gear had a baby...
It's good to see people are still franken building plastics, what with 3d printers and all. One should always start with a franken build even if you plan to 3d print a finished project in my opinion, you get funky or stylish contours and lines you probably wouldn't have if you made it in a design program. Keep up the good work.
Is very good is like a game gear
This is the only video that shows the original 3 colors that the game had (when you plug it into a GBC). Everyone else only shows the game in B&W or the DX version.
@jessea4438 this is one of the few copies of my games that I still have from childhood.
Definitely John madden
Where can I get one of those n64s?😃
@Tommypyo gotta build it lol check out my channel for a full video on it and some build logs.
I love that game
@@toffee_27 me too
Madden Football 64 is the greatest Football Game ever created. I absolutely love everything about the game. It played great. It felt great. It has an atmosphere that is difficult to describe.
@@MizZzChAvVvOzZz I was never able to get into the football games, I remember playing baseball n64 games with my dad and enjoying them. These football games are everywhere though lol
Horrific but love it.
I was thinking about buying a gba and modding it but I'm not sure lol
@motionsparkesstudios definitely worth it and pretty easy to do. Go for it, it's got a great library of games
@wolfsquatch yeah I do have an sp arriving soon because I had someone custom print a sp unhinged shell but I still have more money so I might just buy one with a faulty screen for cheap then add in a ips screen and maybe USB c charging
You continue to amaze me
Wow this is going to be viral! Hope your project goes well!
I hope so!
You fucking madlad. Im overhere thinking Im crazy with a SUPER-NES [Re-shelled snes inside an nes shell], but clearly not

How did you get this on portable someone told me it wasn’t possible please help me
@CriticalRedemption this is a custom n64 portable using actual n64 hardware and an everdrive.
Could you explain to me
@@wolfsquatch so it would work with a everdrive? Do you have the zip for the game?
@CriticalRedemption yeah it works on everdrive it's what I'm using I don't have the zip file I deleted this seed a while ago. Google ootmm randomizer and it'll bring you to a website you can make a seed from.
@@wolfsquatch appreciate it man
It 60fps or 30fps? i looking for some reason to buy it lol
@@kintsugi-ss9ip 30 FPS but it's still a fun best way to play and I recommend getting it. If you want to play 60 FPS ocarina of Time to look into ship of harkinian
