Bond of Union is a folk trio based in Brighton, England, singing traditional and contemporary folk songs in unaccompanied three-part harmony.
The group was inspired by singing sessions and workshops with folk artists including The Unthanks, Jim Mageean and the Young’Uns. Repertoire includes songs learned from those artists, plus other great English vocal groups such as The Keelers, The Wilsons, Coope Boyes and Simpson and Swan Arcade, alongside some original arrangements.

Here's us performing "Magpie", written by Dave Dodds, but which we've adapted from the Jim Mageean version that he kindly sent to us. Many thanks to Matt Sewell-Rutter (audio), Nick Kennedy (photography) and Copp...

Pretty sure I remember hearing that song before 1999... copyright date on the album says 1995. But who's counting anyway? Great version!
Excellent and so appropriate to current COVD times as we continu to rely on the merchnat marine to bring us 98 per cent of our imports including of course FOOD .
I cannot believe that after more than a year and a half this outstanding performance has so few views. Well done! Delicious colour throughout the entire piece, with suprising variation in each verse. And, yes, I'm totally sharing this with my friends. This is a must listen!
