Very Interesting area. That whole area is done in virtual reality and the new Google Earth VR in full 3D. I have spent a lot of time exploring the entire region. I also "rode" the cog wheel train the entire distance exploring everywhere along the way. Rocks and things like that render especially well on 3D photogrammetry. It thrives on detail. You drone guys may end up doing a lot of that.

Its not on a map a such, its an old greenway off the a34 on the way to talke (opposite taybarns) thats the downhill part.. brings you out at the tunstall bypass under the a500. great fun going down, however it is "very" single track
