This simple practical use of translucid cristal to show the death is brilliant. No CGI can hold a candle to it 😂 Shows the relevance of "movie effects" is not in their technical prowess but in their contribution to the scene in narrating the story for the film. Good luck.

Wow, what a scene. Perfect tempo and tone. Blown away by Hopkins inner conflict with every answer to his questions. From confusion to clarity while Pitt’s characterization leads with a smile. Great movie.

When I worked as an RN I witnessed the death of my share of patients. Ninety percent went fairly easy... Even peacefully. But, ocasionally some died hard... Panicky, in distress, full of regret and dispair. It was very hard for the families, and for me. Just pray you're not one of those.

A great movie and two great actors at work. Pitt being so still and allowing the scene to be menacing while Hopkins shows such conflict of emotion whilst hardly moving his face at all in extreme close up. Masterful.
