Hope in a Child
Переглядів 112 годин тому
Throughout history, from Adam, to Abraham, to David, there’s been hope in the birth of a child. That hope has culminated in the birth of Christ, God who became man, to save us from our sins.

Thank you for this sermon. My church is closed and I do not want to stamble into any assembly without being led. Therefore, I will be attending these session.

It's great to hear that these teachings are a blessing to you! It’s great to be able to listen to teachings online in addition to being fellowship with a local assembly of believers. If you’re struggling to find a church that believes and teaches the Bible, check out the CCA church locator to find a Calvary Chapel near you! calvarycca.org/churches/

Pastor Doug, thank you for bringing the Word in season and out of season. As the days grow darker I pray God's people will and our Nation will turn to these ancient lessons from history and seek God in obedience

You are mixing scriptures all over that have nothing to do with one or the other! rightly dividing the word of truth would help! We cannot willfully sin according to how the Hebrew writer is talking about! It is not a habitual sin a habit! where are you getting this stuff from? wow. read the context friend read it, this has nothing of warning people, or scaring them, it is a point that the Hebrew writer is making and that is that there is no way one can lose their salvation!

Listen to the complete teaching. This has nothing to do with losing your salvation. To clarify regarding continual willful sin -- consider the Greek Scholar -- Kenneth Wuest. He wrote: This sin is described as a wilful sin. The word is hekousios (ἑκουσιος), which means, “voluntarily, of one’s own accord.” It is opposed to sins committed inconsiderately, and from ignorance or weakness. The Greek has it, “If we go on sinning wilfully,” stress being placed upon the habitual aspect of the sin. Wuest, K. S. (1997). Wuest’s word studies from the Greek New Testament: for the English reader (Vol. 10, p. 183). Grand Rapids: Eerdmans.

Nehemiah went to Jerusalem to help there, maybe someone needs help where they're at, that's what the church is not a building.
