My favorite cemetery ever-- so many legendary characters buried there, surrounded by green natural beauty and remarkable tombstones and mausoleums.

Cool. I love going to old cemeteries. Not exactly the same but made me think of Mt. Nebo cemetery Clark county Alabama. Death mask used on some headstones. Grew up going to old and abandoned cemeteries with my parents.

Wow, I lived in Short Sands about half a mile from Nubble Lighthouse and never heard this story. I used to SCUBA dive off the rocks there, back in the 80's it was the #1 dive site in New England, don't know if it still is.
