Hi Guys, I'm Amit Sahoo. I'm a Travel Vlogger, travel enthusiast and a travel Film Maker. SHIMLA VLOG | THE PERFECT GETAWAY | GT TRAINING | ONGC | HIMACHAL PRADESH TOURISM
Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
A captivating paradise for leisure travellers and honeymooners, it is a perfect summer resort. From this vantage point, it offers scenic views of Himalayas peaks.
The best time to visit Shimla is during summers, as it offers respite from the scorching summer heat. However, if you are looking for a secluded holiday, come here during winters to witness the snowfall.
We have visited this beautiful place in the year 2020 before the pandemic and we have tried presenting a blog of key attractions in Shimla including Kufri, Mall road, the snowfall, the local markets and the positive vibe giving a perfect getaway destination for the enthusiastic travellers.

I'm really surprised to see the GT training of ONGC officers & can't believe that such things can happen in this company which is known as mismanaged. I attended such training in 1981 at KDMIPE, D'dun & sorry to say that living conditions were so bad & food was pathetic too. Trg coordinator wasn't ready to listen at all. He was some AK Roy chewing pan all the time & hardly able to speak.
Sir, don't know about the KDMIPE living conditions but I would like to assure you that other hostel conditions including food and living space was really good.. even we had a planned 2 month training in dehradun where we actually had a lot of fun along with classes.. it was an all in all very fun time to be with our colleagues and seniors
