Practice for the Boltby Bash July 4th weekend. Stages 2, 4, 5 and 3.

First time for us at Leeds Urban Bike Park. Really dry considering it was the beginning of the new year. Loads of flowing trails and progressive jump sections for all levels. We drove an hour and a half and found plenty of areas to session to take up the 3 and a bit hours we were there! Dry runs in the pine forest near Birchwood Farm in Cromford. Great tech and fun steep sections. Very close to Black Rocks.

Downhill mountain biking in Shining Cliff Woods. Fun very dry trails for April. Shot with Hero 5 Session.

A section in the Monkey Trail, Le Singe Noir is complete with techy rock garden descents, switchbacks, an bits of flow thrown in for good measure. A tough climb at the end. Even in the winter wet there seems to be plenty of grip. Rated black. This run broke my carbon crank on a pedal strike!

A slick winter run down the Lower Cliff downhill on the Monkey Trail at Cannock Chase mountain bike park.

Part of the Cannock Chase Bike network, Stile Cop has may great downhill oriented runs. Here was our favorite of the day, the "Red Run". It was a bit slick and started out really chilly which added to the fun.

A few fast and flowing downhill runs in the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire. A beautiful dry day out.

The Follow the Dog trail at Cannock Chase MTB park is a great trail, but with excitement you can find on the interwebs, not all of it is youtube worthy, here are my favorite parts to give you a taste of what to expect. It was actually pretty tacky with lots of grip except for a few puddles.

Fun little local practice area close to home.

On a family vacation in Lauterbrunnen Swtizerland, I was able to sneak off do a few runs of this beauty: The Grütsch Trail. Really steep and techy with loads of challenging fun attempting to keep the bike in line on the switchbacks. Boltby Bash Enduro stage 4. Dry loam!! I was lucky enough to have my best friends and family there to cheer me on. I was the absolute last man down the hill :0
