i have a 13 year old hyundai elantra that i now consider my beater as i bought a new car. the stress of having a new car is crazy! always worried about someone damaging my car, people touching it by parking in the front parking spots (never again!), always hoping i dont get hit when i drive close to crazy drivers, etc... my elantra is so ugly and has so many dents that i really don't care if it gets more damage cause you cant really tell anyway lol. i mean, the paint has been peeling for years and instead of looking black, it has blue hues now 💀 so yeah, less stress with a beater. still love my new car though, mazda cx30 💕
Marginally affect your life? My dude… that ‘09 goes up in flames you’ll be incurring a 4-figure monthly cost for some time to regain that utility. The early 2000s fleets will be around a LONG time. I’d be heart broken if my 07 bit the dust.

I love driving a beater. Hot heads in traffic don't bother me and It's pure entertainment to hear about problems people are having with more expensive cars, which they tried to avoid by buying newer but more complex cars.
I hear you. I've got a beater truck and car and I've got a nice luxury vehicle that I do love to drive but don't love to own. One time I was at the hospital calling on a doctor in my beater Camry and this old feller let his door swing open and ding my car door and I was like, "who cares sir, have a great day".

I used to have a 2002 Saturn SL1 with a 1.9 4 banger auto and it would get 30-32 MPG. The cool part was that I never went past $27 to fill up didn’t matter what the price of gas was only had it for a year and I sold it and I think the next owner broke it. Which my guess is the transmission. I’m glad I got rid of it but the same time I kind of miss it.

It’s because beater cars aren’t always a money pit. They can be, but only if it’s so bad and it’s a brand, generation, and model that’s plagued with so many common problems that fixing it can still cost you as much as a newer nice car. The catch is most beater cars, on the used car market, aren’t really that bad in dependability while being at a fraction of the upfront cost of a new nice car! If that changed, then so many more people would definitely buy new nice cars. Tis the world. 💯

Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎 Edit the video in a good style. Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization. Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video. Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video. Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good. 🌾

Good argument for price decreases 👍 … trouble is the Bank Cartel in Canada is corrupt and putting more people into negative amortization during this renewal period which doesn’t cause the scenario of forced selling… I guess we’ll have to see where unemployment is by the end of the year… if it’s 10%+ that will likely put more downward pressure on prices, so we’ll have to wait and see 😊

The reality of the situation is, there is for more demand for homes, than supply. Which is leading to a bidding war... Which has lead to these absurd prices. And Even if... Even if the price DOES drop. What is going to drop. A couple of percent? 5%? Sorry but a 1 bedroom apartment is NOT WORTH $600K+

How can you say that affordability is key, forget about the investors and first time buyers are out. So that leaves high equity buyers which are few.
