KAILAS MONT Q60 stands in steadfast alliance with the Chinese Mountaineering Team
Sixty years ago, China ventured into the realm of mountaineering with imported gear from Swiss manufacturers. In 1960, when the Chinese Mountaineering Team first summited Everest, they relied on equipment from distant lands.
Fast forward to 2020, marking the 60th anniversary of that historic ascent: the team returned to remeasure Everest, equipped entirely with domestically-produced gear. They set a record, standing atop the world’s highest point for 150 minutes, showcasing a new era of Chinese mountaineering. KAILAS was there, proud to support every step of their journey with 8000+ extreme climbing equipment, gear engineered to perform and sourced straight from home soil.
This legacy inspires the newly evolved KAILAS MONT Q60, named in honour of that bold achievement. The kit was put through rigorous testing by the Chinese Mountaineering Team in the country they call home, where some of the world's harshest alpine environments can be found. The MONT Q60 is built to endure prolonged, unforgiving conditions and to accompany extreme adventurers as they journey into the unknown. It’s more than gear; it’s a tribute to resilience crafted for those who redefine limits.

30 years ago, me and my friend spent 10 days STEALTH climbing and descending Mount Kailash. It was simple to dodged all the stupid rock idoling imbeciles and we had a great time. But yeah, we did age 10 days !!!! THERES A CRATER AT THE TOP! - unfortunately you climbed the wrong one!!!!! LOL!!!!!
