POV Review of The 2018 Honda Accord Sport
Its actually better for the trasmission and the cluth to keep it in first gear in stop.n go traffic.
Sure because the car is shifting less. But honestly, I don’t think that will make a huge difference. The only thing that truly matters is that you are using the engines momentum and not creeping forward. If you just let your foot off the brake and not use throttle you will ride the clutch. I would rather keep the car in second gear, as long as possible, rather than staying in first because of how short that gear is.
Great review! Keep up the dope content!
Thanks bro!
The transitions are on point
Thanks goat!
Another great review!

wow 23k! sheesh! what a great price for a new CAR! you cant say that from most if any main stream brands during those times
Agreed! I’m lucky to have gotten that because now that I’m getting back to the market I’m seeing how quite unaffordable cars have become in the last few years
@@auto_joe most definitely! Happy that your car is still going strong! 💪
Hyundai needs to fix the model name or change it to numbers. N line and N is way too easy to confuse people. That's why BMW change theirs to M performance to Mxxx such as the M340i.
I greatly appreciate your comment, but I actually think the opposite. I believe having trim names helps set them apart. It took me months to get my girlfriend to understand the differences between the trims at BMW. The brand new M sport cars now even come with lone M badges on the front grille, I.E. the x3m40i has one. The M brand continues to dilute itself as they make lower entry point cars with M badging all over the place.
I think the pre-face lift should be the N and the post-face lift should be the n line.
I would like that! It’s too bad they already updated both cars
8:09 it still happens in the 2024 anything 13km/h and under. I notice it everytime i go in my parking garage
The lunging? Did you try normal mode
@auto_joe yeah as soon as I press the garage button I press the drive mode button too lol
When you're trying to pass on the highway, try downshifting a few times
I do. Still feel like the car could use more power
@auto_joe would be nice if they could have gotten like 220hp out of the engine. I use Shell 91 ( it's the highest octane I can get) and I find it makes a difference too.
I had a 2021 Cyber Grey for 2.5 years before a small crash wrote it off, loved it. 2024 is basically the same, just polished.
I’d love a pre facelift performance blue EN
@auto_joe That is a sick colour, and if it was an N with the red strip would look even cleaner.
@@matthewr.33 Im on the search for a good deal for one!
4:10 201 HP? Were you referring to your Elantra N here? Don't the EN come with 270+ HP?
@@logmeinhere this car is an Elantra N Line, which has 201 horsepower
You can make this car really fun with some mods but honestly the N is a great upgrade
Yeah I think with the current parts available, the N is the best bet. The Elantra N Line isn’t get anywhere near those power numbers and the N gets more aftermarket support already
@@auto_joeyeah I feel that because I’m trying to make a lot of power out of my N-Line and it’s been hard to find the parts to do so for now. Aftermarket support for these cars is getting better though.
@@Blucifer-KI’m just waiting for someone to engine swap theirs haha. Maybe a N motor or a 2JZ if it’ll fit
Cut off the resonator to any car and it will sound better. 🤦🏻♂️
Nothings been cut.

get elantra N bro . elantra N is fucking beat and fun to drive i went from 2023 honda civic type R my civic hadd too many issues
Haha I love the passion. I’m still weighing my options but likely going Elantra N
Did you change spark plugs at 48k miles?
Honestly, I can’t remember at the moment, but I have done every maintenance item recommended by the manufacturer. I don’t do any of my own maintenance, my dealer does it
They have gone up so much in price the last 3 years now the same as civic si,
Yeah they have gone up but they've also added some more luxury options such as a bigger infotainment screen, digital dash, etc. My advice would be to compare options and see if it's worth the difference in price to you. In my opinion, the 21 N Line's are well equipped enough. The only thing I have ever desired for in this car is adaptive cruise control which isn't a deal breaker for me. I would also ask the dealer about warranty for the 2021 car. Does the manufacturer warranty carry over to the 2nd owner or do they provide one for the car at all? You shouldn't have any major issues but it's a nice thing to have just incase.
I’m trying to decide between a used 21 with 30k miles for 19999$ or a new one for like 29000$
If you have no kids and the interest rates are low, go for the new. I've owned both, the 2024 puts the power down better.
That’s jokes😭
Honestly I want more luxury features, so I would go nextdoor for a forte to get rear vents, bigger screen, cooled seats, and Harmon kardon... I don't know why kia and Hyundai doesn't keep features the same across the board.
When I was buying, the Forte GT had next to nothing. No power front seats, nothing in the rear, overall felt like a cheaper interior. And the elantra offers more cabin room by some small margins. I haven't been inside a 2024 model of either so I can't really compare the two. I know the elantra n line also got some added features such as a new digital dash, usb inputs for the rear passengers, etc. The MSRP also went up though. My car was $23k, the MSRP for the new n line is $28k USD.
I will say you get a little sore after a 3 hour highway drive. But the performance alone it's worth it.
"Most modern cars" 😂😂
lol
I saw this on india when i was cycling
Wow they are all over the place! This M4 was spotted in New Hampshire, USA!
I’ve had my 22 N for 2 years and it’s had its small issues but man is it fun
@@devonaudibert1459 that’s awesome, Devon! What color did you get and what sort of issues have you been having?
@@auto_joe I have the intense blue with the dct, my horn also went out a while back but i’ve had an issue with water getting through the door seals. i also go to nashua hyundai and they havnt been able to fix my issue
@@devonaudibert1459 that’s very interesting, you’ve been having issue with the door seals. My mother actually had that same issue with her Nissan Sentra, and her doors freeze up in the winter. Not fun to get stuck inside your car lol. Intense blue is a very nice color! I personally favor the performance blue out of the options but I think the car looks great in all of them.
@@devonaudibert1459 also really cool to see that you are local! I’m sure I’ve seen you around as I’m always looking out for Elantra N’s on the road.
@@auto_joe i agree but wasn’t easy to find the perf blue or gray in the area! it grew on me in person
Just got the 2024 elantra n and I absolutely love it. You really can't go wrong with it. The performance and the sounds it makes just makes driving it such a joy every day
@@Woogzzzie aye congrats! What color did you get?
@@auto_joe got the cyber grey!
@@Woogzzzie i love that color! I think my top choice is the performance blue but thats a close second. The first N I ever saw in person was in cyber grey and I absolutely lost my mind haha. my dealer let me rev it in the showroom and I almost walked out with it but my girlfriend reeled me back
Sounds like a type r. Shocking
Both fairly quiet for what they are unfortunately
Looks bad
My dumbass tried that on an ev.
You wouldn’t be wrong in the new IONIQ5 N 😉
well heres the good part about this, the EA888 Gen 3 and 4 motors literally dont care about anything, they just run fine, no amount of revving or heat will kill them lol
😂😂😂 bruv, I jiggled.
like jello? how big are you?
🤣
How can something so funny be so painful at the same time !?!?
My feeling exactly haha
In park the engine has a rev limiter around 3-4000 rpm.
If it’s an automatic
That's just new cars
And not all of em
@@jazlynnknightmanual cars don’t have “park” 😂 just delete your comment bud
It didn’t sound like it. This was a DSG for people wondering
M4 is good bet i love M5cs😊
this is the best looking bmw made and nobody can change my mind
ur opinion is shit
Man’s gonna send piston number 3 to space at approximately mac Jesus
🤣🤣🤣
that’s obviously not redline bro it’s a soft limiter
@@JZX_Nate either way it sounds so bad the way he’s revving it lol
Oh god. And they sell cars...
Listed above MSRP too 😂😭
Get the N! A whole new beast!
Haha it’s very tempting
Thanks for all the vids, was always looking forward to see them. I love my N line, besides the transmission slip its a blast to drive. Next year im thinking of trading up to an Elantra N because im not sure what the supposed refesh in 2026 is going to be like, and if the manual is gonna survive. I could go preowned, but im a little sketch about buying used sports cars so I'd like the warranty. Hope to see vids of whatever car you get next 🎉
Yeah I’m hoping another manual isn’t killed. VW announced recently that they’re getting rid of theirs for the GTI. I believe you can get an Elantra N preowned with the warranty transferred over but I’m not entirely sure. I’m aiming to get a pre facelift N in the performance blue. Not sure if I’m going DCT or manual yet. Thank you for all the support, you all motivate me to keep going 😎
Just bought a 2023 N-line, loving your series!
@@jayarriaga7935 much appreciated! Congrats on the car! What color did you get?
I like the old bmw e30’s a lot for some reason
@@Idorandomthingsomg they’re beautiful cars. I’ve liked most BMW designs. Not so much the new XM but pretty much everything else
M3 cs is better in my opinion
@@theblakesband haha just wait for tomorrow’s reel
The dct in the N is way better then in the nline.
@@timothycordial1248 I would hope so! I drove the Kona N and I didn’t notice the shifts being any quicker but the Grin shift mode was cool
@@auto_joe it’s 8 gears instead of 7.. and I promise you it’s much quicker in the kN . It’s a lot stronger.
No
lol
I don’t know how many times I’ve checked for an update on your car 😅. I still love driving my 2023 after a year and a half of ownership. So right about this being an everything car. Thanks again for making these videos. It was the reason why I bought mine and so glad I did!!!
