I'm in Knox County. Kentucky i like your video and live
I keep an old screw driver hanging on my splitter to get the scraps out from the channel at the block and then everytime I am finished splitting , I blow my splitter off with a leaf blower . Keeps the cooling fins cleaned out on the engine head .
I'll have to try your screwdriver trick, I've been using a piece of scrap wood!
the leaf blower thing is a great Idea and i do have one!
@@curtisminor803 I drilled a hole thru the handle and tied a piece of para cord from Walmart thru it .
Looking good 👍, great job. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas to you too!
Curtis, I hear ya on that. I’m operating under Plan B right now. It consists of flipping firewood rounds and halves. I buy it, split to my liking, and then sell it.
I am sure your plan B is working out well for you, because you have the right idea, keep it up!
@ thanks,…you too.
I wish I could get some cherry down here in Georgia. I would love to have some for my smoker.
Are you telling me cherry trees dont grow in Georgia????
@ they do but I can’t find anyone getting rid of some
@GatorOutside i bought a whole cord for 250 bucks
Have some joy on your channel curtis. You can pretend ass if you are having fun and not just working. 😢 LoL 😆 also it would be nice if you talk a little more while working.
You are right about the fun part! We are trying.
Why do you stack in such short rows?
Because I am limitted on space its not my property!

Thank you! You too!

Lol
Yessir I just jumped aboard. 🪵👍✌️
Curtis have you thought about doing some live videos and let’s get some chats going this winter??? Come on I just subbed
Pinewood is great Pinewood is great as long as you know how to burn it
keep it up.
I will try my best
Hi Curtis- you use the pine for heating? No concerns about creosote build up? Other than camp fires, here in NH, pine isnt used much .
Usually most people burn it outside it makes a hot fire! Some use it just to start fires! Its totally fine to burn inside as long as its dry and seasoned!
All wood creates creasote by the way
@@curtisminor803 good point Curtis
How ya doing Curtis.! Pine does smell great working it up and we get a lot of it for free around here. I grew up around Beaverdam VA but have somehow since found my way to Minnesota 🔥
So you know about Virginia Pine!!! Cool! Never been to Minesota but sounds like a good place to pass through
Im doing great by the way!
@@curtisminor803 I passed thru it 20 years ago and got stuck...be careful 😆
I Don't want to watch your butt, I want to see you spliting wood, please.
It was just one of those days where i wanted to get things done! No more back shots in the future!
Keep the scraps cleaned out of the splitter

Does your hydraulic cylinder ever get really hot? I have a country line splitter an it does to the point you wouldn't want to touch it, always afraid i mite bust a line or valve
