Good job collecting all those natural seeds. Happy New Year! 🎆🎆
@@AnneHeyns Thanks! Happy New Year to you. 😎🌱
Both parts are beautiful and food for the birds
You're blessed to have so many leaves to use in the garden.
@@GardenDiscovery I’m so glad to have them.
The garden is looking so full!
Thanks!
You still have alot of beautiful flowers. How cold will it get there in winter?
@@GardenDiscovery This video was filmed back at the end of Oct; I’m behind on editing. 😊 It’s not even above freezing today. I think 30f is our high. We are zone 6b/7a so it gets cold for sure. A long warm fall this year though.
Thanks for letting us join you in your garden❤
@@GardenDiscovery you are welcome. 💚❤️
Lovely place you have there - Love those huge trees! Your garden looks good☺
@@AnneHeyns thanks! The mature trees are one of the best parts of our lot. I’m so glad someone planted the biggest ones in the 1950s.
I love these videos a lot! Great job adding more and more natives. It's going to be an amazing garden of biodiversity!
Formidable vidéo

Stunning native garden!! We love to see it! Now I need to check out your channel for more videos. I'm hooked!

@@cozyrosemary thanks Mary! You have a beautiful day too. 😎
saw you on my yt page, came to see, liked it and connected too. I love gardening but am still very much a novice at it. I watch and learn from people such as you. Hope to see you take a peek at my place too☺
@@AnneHeyns will do. Thanks for reaching out and welcome. 😎
Wow!! That’s one heck of’a garlic haul and beautiful 🎉 If you run out of room in the garden just grab some cardboard boxes. That’s what I had to grow mine in last year but it worked very well. (Thanks Amazon 😂) 😊
@@jenniferm3572 nice! Thanks for the tip.
Beautiful garden! 👍 Thanks for showing. 😊
@@Myrtuscommunis thanks, I’m happy to share. 🌱😎
Beautiful flowers! 😃💚
@@Myrtuscommunis thank you, and welcome!
“Why?”…..”0h”. 😂 So cute. The weather will be cooling a few degrees this week so maybe I can match your level of tenacity in the garden without the risk of 💀 maybe …😆 Tfs ✋ 👍👍
Heat is no joke. I hope you get to get out in the garden. 😎
hello
Hello and Welcome!
Beautiful harvest. My suggestion for the chipmunks would be a motion sensing water sprayer. It’s the only thing I found that scares the crap out of everything and let’s my garden grow in peace. 😁😅 There’s always a cat but they tend to be lazy during the day and might poop in the garden. Or cayenne pepper or peppermint oil?
@@jenniferm3572 nice! That’s a great suggestion. Thanks. 😎
I find it very peaceful watching you pot and repot your plants, with the sounds of your voice, your work, the birds chirping and the child singing in the background.
Same for me. A place of peace and inspiration 😊
Thank you. I’m glad you are enjoying it.

@@LDR_Naga_vlog welcome!
This is truly a farm-to-table experience.
@@ReenaMountainLife indeed!
This looks SO good! When you cut them it reminded me of okra. Are the pods similar to okra flavor and texture?
@@jenniferm3572 the outside pod is similar in texture to okra, and you want to pick them smaller like okra, but they aren’t mucosal like okra. The inside reminds me more of soft cheese or tofu. The flavor is different- more nutty and bright.
Really really enjoyed this one. 💓 So many things to make the heart sing. (((And The mug))). It looked like a beautiful day to plant seeds and make great memories 🤍👍👍
@@jenniferm3572 thank you. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. Those mugs match our plates and bowls.
Wow, that yellow and purple flower was so beautiful
@@lindasbackyardgarden728 thank you! That is a Lisianthus ‘Black Pearl’. There is one flower that is a brighter purple that I think is a different color that got mixed in. Would be great to grow more of those too.
What seed company is that?
@@lindasbackyardgarden728 that is seed savers exchange. I think the website is seedsavers dot org. They specialize in heirloom seeds. It’s one of my top 5 favorite seed companies.
Sweet baby. Such a great job on the intro. Reminds me of when mine were younger. Teens now but still lots of fun. Great harvest! 👍👍😊

I wish their seeds were easier to germinate (without time-wasting stratification).
@@KishorTwist stratification is totally a time suck. I wintersowed these which has been the most successful and least work for me. Thanks for commenting!
Yes that weed does come out easily. New friend here. Showing you support. I have seen that weed in my yard. Yes my garlic did come out well this season. I just made my garlic into powder. Thanks for sharing this video. You did a great job harvesting your garlic. Happy gardening

did you plant the lisianthus? I have seeds but have never started them
@@lindasbackyardgarden728 Yes! I started them from seed back in January. Very slow growers, and tiny forever.
