I was literally playing the first descendent. While listening to 1st descendent guides. When this video popped up. Started listening to it. Before this I was considering dropping AU$150 to get clay ultimate. After listening to this video, I was like damn I’m a drug addict . lol Hard deleted the game . I’m like with $150. I can buy any AAA title I want. Thank you PS learnt way more than I wanted to about drug dealing lol.

I mean this is a classic FTP Korean looter grind game. The grind is meant to be extremely extremely repetitive and to take forever to get what you want. OR or, you can pay them $5 or $15 or $50 to skip the grind and get what you want now. Like there is no real story, there is no PvP, all there is is grind grind grind. The game is just number go up. MMOs like World of Warcraft end game is the same grinding over and over for your gear sets. In both games you know what area to run to try to get an item but you also know you are not guaranteed to get the item. If you want to see games worse then this one at doing this then go look at mobile games. It is awful but they are fishing for whales and know most people will only play a little, maybe buy one or two things, and in uncommon cases actually keep playing for free (they do need some of those free players to give the whales people to look down on and to run group content with after all). What they really want though is that 1%-3% of their player base that spends several hundred to several thousand dollars. There are tons of stories out there about people that have spent tens of thousands on some mobile game in Asia. I will admit I have bought some cosmetics in many games I have played, but I will never (and have never in other similar games) buy skips. Because the whole game is about grinding the items. If I pay for it then there is no point for me to play. I have bought cosmetics in so many games both ones that are free to play and ones that even charge for the game. However, if I were to buy ultimate Bunny and buy all of the slot changers, and buy all of the enhancements and shit and I only play Bunny. Then what more is there for me to do? Go try to solo the bosses on hard mode? Then after a couple of days of doing that what then? There is no more content. Not saying this game or other games are not or cant be addicting. I just dont know what game these days that has any form of multiplayer does not have some kind of potential addiction creating grind loop. I tried playing Warframe and I felt like the grind on that one was worse the the grind on The First Descendant. I am getting the items I am looking for left and right where in Warframe I put in close to the same time I have so far for The First Descendant and only ever got one new Frame, but I have five Descendants, I have the ultimate weapons for said Descendants, and most of the Transcendent mods for those Descendants too. The final question I would ask though is if it was "easy" to get the items and they dropped more often then what do you do after you get everything and no new content is out yet? If the whole game loop is just to grind for stuff and you can get it all in a month but the next content drop is not for three months? Do you quit and come back? Do you quit forever? If you are feeling you are getting into an addiction loop and can then stop playing. If you see a friend doing that then help them. I just like to come home from work and mindlessly blast aliens for a couple of hours while working toward some kind of unlock maybe and if that is with friends at the same time then even better. I do wish the only things you could buy were cosmetics though. I hate seeing skips and boosters and such as options to buy because those are so predatory. I dont know where I am going with this any more. I think the game can be addicting for people (like any game can become), but for me it is just this rather then watching TV or scrolling though youtube videos for several hours after work. In a month or so another game will come out and I will play that for a while, then another one will come out and so on. And if it is a FTP game like this one with cosmetics and I have fun they might get up to $50 or so out of me as that is about what non FTP games cost so I dont feel weird about that much. To anyone who read this whole jumbled mess. I wish you well.

As a Legendary 4 on Warframe things do pay off as you said as it doesn't take so long to get so much Resources to get a Part or Prime Set, I'm just tired of playing The Descendant Game to where I am trying to get Gley but only have but so little in the Game to get Her. -_- I don't want to pay for Her as the One who got me into this Game told me not too as they have Glitches and such to the Game even when I am playing it I am going through dumb Glitches of my Character going back and forth or something that just keeps happening. I am glad I Caught this Video as I enjoy Truth being put in front of my Eyes.
