I'm a huge fan of metal from Australia. Like to capture a song or two from each gig I attend to have a permanent personal memory of the gig, and to share with the world.
I use an old Panasonic digital video camera that captures pretty fine audio. Recently upgraded to a newer Panasonic high-def, but unfortunately its audio is TERRIBLE, so for the most part I've gone back to using the old camera again!

Just a Samsung S23 ultra phone. Insanely good for concert audio!

Love seeing this, just got to see em' a few weeks ago in Victoria BC and the show was spectacular! Love that they headed to Australia after their release parties, wish I could have followed em' for the whole tour! 🤘🏻

Getting to see one of the Sabaton Open Air 22 alumni (Amaranthe) is a couple of months time also here in Australia for the first time! Will be wearing my SOA 22 shirt proudly that night :)
@@dallash71 And Wind Rose made the trip down there as well. I'm happy that bands are eventually getting there. I often tell people about your (ridiculous) trip to SOA, and how you were "just down the road from me" at Masters of Rock, when I was at Area 53 in Austria last year. I "dropped by" Toronto on my way home from NL (Rock Circus) in November to catch Amaranthe and Nanowar of Steel.

Who is singer, where is Marc?
Guy by the name of Alessio Garavello. Used to be lead singer for Powerquest. Apparently they were booked to do the cruise at quite short notice and Marc couldn't make it so Alessio agreed to fill in.
Was an awesome night they played their arses off. I forgot how great this song is!
