Hopefully the original owner had the transmission flushed through warranty, with the revised trans fluid… There were a lot of folks years ago, that simply begun having transmission issues, and immediately got rid of the car; leaving the newer owners to deal with the problems. All it simply takes, if you don’t have factory warranty, is to drain and fill with new trans fluid 3-4 times. By the last drain and fill, you should have well over 90% fresh, new trans fluid. Chances are if you had a low mileage, one previous owner, automatic 16-18 Camaro V8; you’re probably still on the factory transmission fluid fill and need a trans fluid change/flush ASAP. It’s not a matter of IF the issues occur, but rather WHEN they will…
