Unfortunately not, our steel cottage sheds would not be customizable in this way. We would have wooden cottage sheds that are fully customizable, if that would suit more!

Hi Tim, thanks for the comment. The 2-3 hours note would generally be for experienced builders; for the layman, it can take up to 2-4 times longer, realistically. If you've any issue with the instructions, let me know what parts and we can help clear it up. We do advise that self-assembly isn't for everyone, but if you take your time, pre-plan and follow the instructions, it should go together without any issue.

Hi there. We can reinforce the floors on our wooden sheds to support that amount of weight, however, the wooden sheds are all lifted up, i.e. there's a step up into them. So, not ideal for a bike. We can't make them flush to the ground as they'd suffer from rot if they were built directly on the ground. You could opt for a steel shed like our Colossus, which has lipped entry and which (if built on concrete) will have no issue with this weight. We do a heavy duty shed also, but the doors don't open wide enough on that to allow a motorbike in.

Assembly is 2-3 weeks currently, but as the Summer creeps in, that'll grow to about 6 weeks. I'd recommend calling at (01 864 4247) for accurate and up to date assembly lead times

If you use Tozane, it is a low-odour fuel, so it's not as strong as other fuels. However, compared to the Inverter Heater it would have a stronger smell, yes.

Hi Rosemary. The ply flooring is included with the supply and fitting service. We don't supply the ply with the flat-packed option. It's so large that it increases the shipping charges fairly significantly. It'd make more sense for the customer to source it locally. We use 18mm SmartPly. For the Colossus, you'd need 4 standard sized sheets - and you'd have a bit left over at the end.

@@shedsdirectire Thanks. If I just lay 1200 Gauge membrane over tilled level ground, place the base and fill/level off with sand good to go? Probably need near 1T of sand for the colossus shed?

@@Alien_Observer_ That sound right to me. You may have a bit left over with the tonne of gravel, but I don't know many places that sell it in a smaller amount. Otherwise, sounds like you're on to a winner.

Hi there. We will have a video up in the next two weeks on this exact wick change. We have a video on how to change the Wick 240 currently; it's not the same, but it may help you get the process started if you're entirely stuck.

We wouldn't recommend using it on a carpet. If it was knocked over, or if someone was careless with the fuel tank when removing it, the fuel could spill into the carpet.

Hi there - if you opt for the assembly option, yes, it's included in the price. We don't send it with our flat-packed options however; it's too large for the courier and the cost to transport it would be larger for the customer than just picking it up locally. If you're opting for it flat-packed, we recommend 18mm Smart Ply. You'd need 4 sheets of that for this shed.

I'm afraid not. You could try contact the manufacturer, Essege for these. If you're not qualified to repair these, I'd strongly recommend against trying to fix it yourself (for safety's sake)

Hi William. Yes, this heater can run on a 20L bottle of Tozane for approx 59 hours. The heater has a tank of 5 litres however. So yes, while a full 20L bottle of Tozane will last up to 59 hours, each 5L tank fill will last between 10-15 hours. 15 x 4 = 60 (which we've rounded down to be accurate an in line with in-store tests). You can call us in-store if you have any other questions about the heater.

@@martinmorgan8475 Yes. I know a place where i can buy small quantities from a heating fuel company. I would say don't use it in a new heater if you want to keep the warranty but when the heater is out of warranty you will save a lot of money by using kerosene (28 second heating oil) instead of paraffin.

Hi, The Inverter is one of the safest heaters on the Irish Market, it has some amazing safety features. For instance, the Anti-topple technology, low-fuel alarm and Carbon Monoxide Alarm. However, you should only use heaters that burns fuel in a ventilated area. Any fuel that is burned will create small amounts of carbon monoxide - this isn’t an issue in small doses, but if left to burn in an unventilated area, you are really putting yourself at risk.

Hi there - we've not encountered E11 before, I'm afraid. E1 on the 5086 Inverter means there's carbon build up in the heating chamber, but E11 is not something that's in the manual. If you can let us know what model you have we can try find out for you.

@@paul1962uk my fiancé bought one and its the best thing we've gotten for our home, heats up the entire place and it lasts ages so don't have to get a tonne of oil. Easily moved around the house and much needed for the colder months

So it won't work if the power was out. Not even for heating.

Hi Gen. There's a battery built into it. You plug it in to charge and then it'll run for several hours at a time. To avoid tripping / damaging the wire, we don't recommend using it while it's plugged in!
