We had a plan to hike some miles in Oregon that we missed last year and then continue through Washington to the border but decided to leave the trail once we reached Cascade Locks after the fire near Trout Lake broke out. You could hike Sobo to Lucerne on Lake Chelan or to Phelps Creek Trailhead via Spider Gap to pickup a bunch of miles.
