I'm guessing there is some sort of underwater rail that is guiding the ship through such a narrow body of water? Can't imagine a pilot being able to do this with a rudder..

Nice layout! I really like the elevated loop and your polar express set. You have a lot of nice engines. Roughly how big is your train layout? I tore mine down and was checking out other people’s layouts for ideas. I only have about 15 1/2 by 9 to work with.

You have a nice layout. I noticed the first car in this train does not match the others. The car is a a different style, the stripe is narrower, and maybe redder, has narrow stripes at the top and bottom, the doors are solid red, and Polar Express is above the stripe rather than below as on all the other cars. It it also made by Lionel?
