This video written and narrated by Dr. Pamela Rose Toulouse, created by Dr. Nidhi Sachdeva shares with us the indigenous ways of knowing. Dr. Toulouse says when indigenous peoples meet someone for the first time, before getting into the reason for meeting, they first take the time to get to know each other. Meaning they first meet each other as fellow human beings journeying through life before...

So precise and concise is the articulation of how to apply direct instruction in learning and teaching and Rosenshine's Ten Folden Principles of Instruction. This excellent microlesson is really helpful for me. Thank you Nidhi again and I really appreciate everything you do.

That's one of the best topics in the area but I couldn't focus of the video because of the background music. You were explaining cognitive load theory on the other hand this video doesn't contain multimedia learning principles. The topic and text was good. Thank you.

You are so right Yusuf. My earlier days of making the video and I made that error ha! I plan on updating this soon. But totally agree! Having said that, I will add that I tried my best to integrate the multimedia principles but certainly made the error of adding the seductive detail, which is still being studied. Many early video creators love background music. But hey the content is very useful for us all!

Thank you very much for making this video for us. I just have a little question. At 4:32 in the background image, I noticed that the structural, acoustic and semantic are arranged in the order from left to right. At the same time the neural image below becomes thicker in the same order. Does this mean that acoustic is higher on processing level than structural? Because in the narrative you said that both structural and acoustic are shallow processing, so I'm not very certain about whether they are on the same processing level or not.
