I know you spent a lot of time building that it’s just annoying that there isn’t the proper bunny education out there. if you can do not keep the bunnies in the wire bottom cage just keeping them on the grass
You are not a bad person. You’re just trying to have bunnies for meat and manure and other stuff but if you could do anything, please research rabbits diet. and if you can in the future, please keep them on the grass. It would be much better for them.
I understand you put a lot of effort and thought into the cage for the rabbits but rabbit should not be in a wire bottom cage. I used to have rabbits in a wire bottom cage and I learned a lesson from it if you can do anything else, please just make an area on the grass for them
See this is where it’s going wrong. They’re only eating pellets 80% of their diet is hay they need it open to them 24 seven. 7% of their diet is pellets. 10% is fresh greens. and 3% is treats.
I know you are doing your best to make a good rabbit home, but a lot of people don’t know wire is really bad for rabbits doesn’t matter how big the wire is or how small it can give the bunny sore hocks which are blisters on their feet over time
There’s other ways to catch their droppings. Don’t put them in a cage. It is really bad for them.
Rabbit should never be in wire. They also don’t have hay 80% of their diet is hay. They also use the litter box and they need pellets and fresh greens every day.
Breeding rabbits are terrible
Rabbits should never be in a hutch wire bottom cages give them sore hocks. Please do not keep them in there. If you don’t believe me look it up wire bottom cages are the worst thing you could possibly do to rabbit.
Rabbits are absolutely never supposed to be in a hutch. Floating on the grid wire is terrible for their feet. They need to be on solid ground. Bedding or grass or even hay. Clean blankets are better than that wire. I'm sure you mean well but please do more research on how to ACTUALLY properly care for rabbits. If you want to collect the droppings you can letterbox train them to go into hay or any other material you want really. You can collect their droppings without cruelty to the rabbits.

@@LadyBrooks these are meat rabbits not pets. We’ve followed every requirement and then some for meat rabbits. If you’d like to learn more about it search “meat rabbit setup”on UA-cam you’ll see hundreds of videos with setups just like this. I appreciate your concern tho! Thanks for the comment

@PuraVidaPythons I've actually lived on a meat Rabbit farm when I was younger. I am familiar with the fact that what you're doing is legal. I said it was cruel and not proper. Which is true. Just because they're meat rabbits doesn't mean the time they're alive needs to be cruel or unpleasant for them. I love nd eat meat. I also believe in respecting the animal while it's alive.
@@LadyBrooks we believe in respecting our animals as well which is why we’ve given them the best setup possible, I don’t think it’s cruel or inhumane and neither do millions of other people but like I said in the video it’s just a difference of opinions, not facts. We love meat too! Which is why we decided to raise our own to give us the healthiest options available. I assure you these rabbits are not in pain or uncomfortable 👍🏽 they’re actually relaxing and eating some fresh greens right now 😁

@@Hypnotic.Serpents exactly, especially as a newer breeder that’s not the first impression I want to give people/customers. Even more so if it’s someone just getting into it themselves to start off on the wrong foot because of my mistake. Just going to research as much as possible and let people know the pairings etc to try and cover my bases as much as possible

Learned what it meant and it really resonated with how I viewed life and so we’ve really adopted the mantra 😁
