Hi, great job, I'm trying to build one, I have a question... how many ml/min of oil should go through the lube line? For example at maximum power I read about 5 ml per minute but I'm not sure this is correct.
5 to 10ml a minute is fine! Better to much than less...Goodluck

5cl/10cl oil at 1liter of fuel.....For running the turbune 90% goes to engine vaporazor and 10% goes to the bearings..

I am trying to do this setup and everything looks good but not getting a solid transmit setting ( I have the 2 dots) I have checked and re-checked but cannot figure the issue with my settings
Check the user manual at Qrplabs qmx.......Also switch of ur swr protection......and start at 7volts...

Thats just a big steel bolt prepared on the lathe to do the bending job 3:24
interesting method. obviously not as good as cnc machining but im sure that will still do the job

QMX is not an SSB radio. Try CW and FSK.
Qmx receives ssb...Transmit not yet.....Soon wiil do ssb tx....

And this should somehow work? I don't know. Why you don't upload turbine assembly with exact this wheel. What about compressor? It is much harder to make.
Yes..Somehow this works well...See at my channel for some videos.....kj66 Kampturbine...Offcourse the compressor is diffucult to make but its easy to buy.....Thnx for ur comment.

Very nice video, but unfortunatelly noone talled him that this kinda Turbine has trans- or super- sonic airprophile, not subsonic like most airplane wings/Ventilators. Please don't forget: it "should" spins faster than soundspeed (not subsonic airfoil) 🥰

Sir, I'm having difficulties finding the compressor wheel for the kj 66 I was wondering what other, if any, wheel I can use?
@@laor100 Any compressor size 66m to 70mm with bore 6,5mm to 7mm will work...I have tryed many different types....They all work...But dont use smaller then 66mm....
A piece of inconel and a compressor cost around 150 euro...

I tryed to listen to SSB. 7MHz you use lbs and not USB. I tryed to change USB into lbs in the System Menue. But nothing happened. USB on high Bands, it is not problem to receive USB. Any Idea ?
To be honest i dont ....I works overhere!!! Try to give it a reset....Must be software issue.....73.....
I have the same problem. I cannot listen to 40 meters LSB. If I change to LSB in System nothing changes. I can listen to USB on 20 perfectly. Perhaps it is not implemented in software yet.

I have a question about the receiver capabilities ... what is the spectrum it can receive on ( can you listen to things outside the ham bands ) ? ... I know the transmit is only on specified ham bands

How could you transmitt am with it? Modulating the input voltage?

Impressive! One of my frustrations with my QCX-mini is that the CW bandwidth, which good for CW, makes listening to SSB difficult. I'm looking forward to when it can transmit SSB. 73, Mike, WA4MP

Dear friend!! I can remember around 4,5 / 5 kilo... with 2.3 kilo of trust.....For flight 1 kilo trust is enough but for start u need a minimum of kilo.....Thnx for comment...

What kind of voltage were you running into the qcx mini and the amp
Both running 12volts. Higher is possible.....Normal i use 12volt getting a 20watts output...Works really nice.....73 my friend...

Good work. Can't you go up to 120,000 rpm with the inconel 713 wheel? 85,000 rpm is the reasonable limit for a stainless steel wheel, with around 3kg of thrust for a normal kj66. It's a real difficulty to find inconel without breaking the bank
120.000 is possible with good balance and low exhaust temp.....

What's the type of bearings that will stand the rpm that exceeds 80krpm?
Rpm up to 110.000rpm.....Just regular bearing but withour the inner case remover that holds the balls inside in place. U can go up to 140.000rpm. ..thnx for answer

The Rm9 receiver uses 2 antennas.. one to receive one to send. Plane work great tested to 8km far by now.....Thnx for ur comment....

excellente présentation : j' ai le même avec la même antenne et ainsi j' ai un HT tout en un. Il est très délicat à manipuler mais aussi très correct vu son prix de 170 € merci pour l' indication du SWR. Il est livré sans notice d' emploi et la prise du chargeur 220 v est non conforme avec le poste ; j' ai dû la changer. Ai aussi de meilleurs résultats en SSB avec le bouton poussoir rouge qu' avec le microphone. A quoi sert le sortie UART ?? 73 Alain
